Holy Crap - does anyone think that this movie is just going to blow the doors off the second one? I am so geeked up to see this and I actually loved the second one - ten times more so the second time around. This is one of the most anticipated Fall/Christmas release slates I can remember - with Los In Translationa nd Once Upon A Time In Mexico starting it of - next Coen's (although I'm leery) and Kill Bill (again leery) and then the big boys roll into to town satrting Nov. 5. I'm pscyhed.

I'm more anticipating Return of the King, but I still want to see Revolutions.

yeah - i guess I'm reversed on that one - but I'm stoked for both -huge movies on the biggest screens - for me - there's very little better in life - probably why I work in Hollywood.

Well, that's why I work in Hollywood.

Well, I'm at Warner Bros, just biding my time until I can get out of here and do something a little more productive. I'm starting school at Video Symphony tomorrow for about 10 months, and then I can finally get into post-production, which is where I'm headed. But I also try to write on the side as well (surprise, surprise)...

Hey Chap. My friend went to Video Symphony. He took the AVID classes and got work fairly quick with a small production company as an assistant editor. That was a couple years ago. Seems like a nice program. Many of his teachers were well known Movie editors. The other benefit is that you get early preview screenings on the paramount lot of upcoming films. I often thought of going that rout especially after helping my friend put some reels together for a DP. It was a lot of fun playing with the AVID. A lot more fun than the tedium of splicing film by hand like in film school. Ugh!

Good to hear that you're writing. I've been lazy as hell about it. I have to get back to it.
