He's had poor blocking, no RB's but he dishes the ball fast and will run when needed.

No way in hell the Cards open him up to waivers.

Not a Hall guy, but he is definitely making plays. After watching him a lot in college, I was convinced he couldn't play at this level. I hope he continues proving me wrong.

Oh gosh. Yall have seen about 20 passes from an undrafted rookie free agent and you want to start him.

I do wish Max had got some time with the 1's. I never watched him in college but I am wowed by most of what he has done. Somethings will take time. Must keep him.

He seems to lock into his receiver. He isn't looking anyone off, but yeah, let's start him.

Good point. DA hasn't led any TD drives this preseason. :sarcasm:

Look. I really hope our rookie QBs continue to perform well. That said, it's weird that some of you magnify every mistake DA makes, while failing to recognize things he has done well. I haven't been a DA fan, but why not give him the same open-mind you are giving Hall?

Yeah, but he doesn't have the luxury of looking anyone off. Those scrub defenders are already in the backfield.

Such a quick release that works. Sorry, I am impressed.

You talking DA right? Because yes, DA does do that.
Cute. As a matter of fact on two of DA's passes he did look off other receivers. Just watch Hall if he plays again. That's all I'm saying. It isn't anything that can't be taught but he IS playing against bubble guys.

And with bubble guys. Smith over-ran his protection, but Max saw it in an instant and made the right throw. Smith won't make the team, but Hall made him look good.

I think he looks like a keeper but even when he has time he's locking in. Again. he can learn and he does seem to have the "moxie", but he isn't ready to start yet.

Yeah, completely won me over. I like the kid and want to see him develop.
