Watching the Saints and New England tonight is to see what the best teams are.

The Cardinals have a long way to go to be able to compete with either team, particularly the Saints.

Jeez talk about reacting to what you have seen most recently.

Wake me up when they win the NFC, sound good? ;)

Disagree--the Cards proved they could play with the best of them last postseason.

Now we just have to do it again

Everybody in the NFL has a long way to go to compete with the Saints the way they were playing tonight. However, no team in the NFL can play at that level every Sunday.

They were awesome tonight.

We are a playoff team and can compete with anyone.

Sheesh somewhere along the way we are forgetting how great it is to even be in the position we are now.

I'd agree with you if the last team we played with a great QB and stellar offense hadn't beaten the living tar out of us in our stadium.

505 yards of offense. Up 21-3 by halftime. Manning threw for 4 TDs and they coasted to a 31-10 win. And that's with Warner throwing for 332 yards.

Our secondary just got toasted for 387 yards by Vince Young! Brees would kill us.

Here's to getting to find out for sure.

Brees may have won himself an MVP tonight. Brady's out, Manning won last year when he wasn't a clear cut choice and Favre has 3 already and as great as he's played, Brees has played greater.

Highest rated QB on an undefeated team should win it. 5 games to go, but right now he's got to be the leader.

After watching the Saints there is no doubt in my mind they are a better team than the Cardinals. Even if you want to say the offenses are even their defense is better. This is not a knock against the Cardinals just a fact that they are playing better than the Cardinals.

I would also take Brees over Warner in a heartbeat. Brees abiltiy to move in the pocket and rollout are what makes him a better choice over Warner. I would say both read and see the field evenly and both are accurate.

Can the Cardinals go toe to toe with the Saints, yes but only if they play their A game.

The Giants were the heavy favorites to win the Super Bowl at this time last year.

But they don't hand out the Lombardi trophy until February. Make the playoffs. That's when you want to be at your peak.

That being said, The Saints do look unbeatable.

The Saints have yet to face a defense that can disrupt their offense. The Patriots defense is very very beatable this year. Their secondary is almost awful. Firing on all cylinders, we can easily hang with them.

That being said, if anyone else is going to win it this year, I hope it is the saints. They are a class organization, and Drew Brees certainly deserves a ring for helping turn around not one but two NFL franchises.

that was the Saints game of the year, at home, on a Monday night. Think they were fired up a bit? They are definitely beatable. Especially with that secondary. They could have called Malcolm Jenkins for about 6 holding penalties if they wanted. Their offense got on an unstoppable roll. Look at how NE ran the ball on them. The Saints are very good but by no means unbeatable.

I like the Cards chances better than most. It's gonna take a dynamic offense that can put points on the board to beat them. We're one of the few teams in the NFC that fit that criteria. The Vikings too.

The question is who has a defense that can disrupt their offense? Especially with the way the enforcement of the rules on pass defense is going.

They've already beaten the #2,#3,#5 and #6 pass defenses in the NFC and the #1,#3, and #4 in the AFC. That's 7 of the top 11 pass defenses in the league.

Maybe the Redskins if the weather is bad but the Saints run the ball as well as they throw it. 1656 yards and 18TDs and 10 of 11 games over 100 yards.

I don't know.

Of course now that I've said all this the Saints won't dominate another game all year. :D

Wouldn't be surprised to see a Saints letdown this Sunday going on the road on a short week after a big time emotional win. Washington doesn't have much firepower on offense though, so they'll need some fluky plays to pull it off.

It would be kind of neat to see the Colts and Saints both be in the Super Bowl as undefeated teams. Kind of neat in a second coolest thing, the first being us playing. Take that Mercury Morris.

I am boldly convinced that the Cardinals are going to beat either the Saints or the Vikings in the playoffs. Beating the cinderella Saints or the ageless Favre: it'll disappoint the entire country, they'll label it a fluke, and it's the one way we can win and still lose. This is what the Cards do, and I'll take it.
