Yeah, "turnovers".

But take the turnovers out of this game and we still lose by about 20.

I don't think anyone thought this defense would be that good.
Surely nobody thought we would have a big play defense that would force a lot of turnovers.

I think the Cardinals were hoping for the offense to control the ball and the clock to take the pressure off the defense. Instead we get the offense and the special tems putting more pressure on the defense and you get 42 and 38(or more) scored on us.

Well, at the risk of being called an idiot again, I agree with you.

This team's only hope was to play ball-control. The defense was going to stink regardless.........but if the offense and special teams stink too, we're just screwed.

That's what we're seeing unfortunately.

Graves haunting words still ring in my ears: "wait until June before you judge the team". Ever who is responsibe for assembling this team should be fired unless Bidwill is himself responsible by closing the purse strings. Fans should just stop going to the games. What good is a new stadium. Does anyone really think Bidwill will change?

Here's the deal . . .

Mac is great at one liners: "One heartbeat" "Improving the belly of our team" about Pace "he has great forklift" and on and on . . .

but he's not head coach material.

It is the coaching that stinks. Look at the players, they have their head hung low, and that is clearly indicative of poor leadership.

He's a better motivational speaker than he is a coach, no doubt.

We stink and everyone is to blame right now.

realy - what makes you think he's a good motivational speaker - nothing apparently works - this team always comes out of the gates looking lost - does his motivation wear off before they even hit the field? I'm going to stop posting now because it's pointless.

I just mean he's upbeat. He's always positive.

It's not worth arguing over. Everyone on the team and staff sucks. So why nitpick.

Do you know what I'd really hate to see??

Is going 4-0 in the preseason & then going something like 2-14, or 3-13 in the regular season. It is a grim reality, but right now I'm totally amazed, I just can't begin to sum-up how I feel.
