On the last page of their game thread, someone wrote"

"Sadly LA is bad enough to lose game 5 and the Suns are too good to lose at home. We lose game 5 and it's over."

I agree--game five is the big one, guys. Time to put your foot on their throats in game five and finish them off at home in game six.

Definitely can be done by the Suns--that bench was huge tonight!!!

Rooting like hell for you!!!!!

Game 5 decides the series IMO. In fact, that is the only way the Suns win the series IMO.

Lakers Win Game 5 = Lakers finish us off at home
Suns Win game 5 = We will will one out of the last 2 games and take the series.

The one thing the Lakers are the best at is going for the throat. If the Lakers win game 5, our throats are showing and Lakers pounce.

Winning Game 5 would put doubt in the Lakers.

Totally agree... but it will be BY FAR the toughest, roughest, most physical, most hostile environment the Suns will have had to endure in a very, very long time... The Lakers are nw PISSED OFF! Phil is PISSED OFF. Kobe & gang are steaming! The crowd will be beyond intense and of course, the Lakers will have the refs on their side... If the Suns are able to even keep the game close in the 4th quarter, I will be amazed... but if they can do that, anything is possible. I just hope the overall intensity of it all doesn't cave in around them, and come the 4th quarter they're down by 15 or more...

I'm not convinced that being "pissed" it the ideal mindset for winning. Maybe, but I'd take confidence over being pissed every time.

Right now it seems the Lakers are strggling with the zone. It is odd, but it may be the Suns do a better than average job with it - especially the Suns second team.

I agree. Game 5 is everything. We just need our bench to do 60% of what they did tonight. Just to come out. Even if we can get 8 points from Frye, that would be good. Also we need to make sure to REBOUND.

I think it needs to be said that the Suns got the better of the officiating in the fourth quarter tonight. There were a lot of Laker fouls that were indeed fouls, but that usually would not be called in a "physical" playoff game. The Suns would not have gotten those calls in Los Angeles. The referees called the fourth quarter more like a regular-season game, and that worked to the Suns' advantage.

LMAO every time i see your new sig. Classic
Before Robin's outstretched arms were being held by his teammates and coaches, his outstretched arms looked like he was getting ready for a rebound from a free throw.

He's beautiful. But he sure is a character. And someone we've needed at the Center spot for a long, long time.

That's called home cooking! Suns don't need to shoot 2x more FT than Lakers if they can shoot 3pt better. Tonight Frye stepped up but Nash went like 1/5.

Lakers also shot way more 3pt than they normally do.

Maybe knocking Nash around sent a message to the refs that the Lakers are too physical? Who knows. I don't expect Amare getting the same kind of treatment at Staples.

LOL what happened in that clip? What did Robin see??? He acted like he won a million dollars?

i think it was Dragic's acrobatic drive to the basket, which Marv Albert called the play of the game.

And it's people like you that kept us from getting a big guy all this time. Always clamoring about small ball this and small ball that. Now do you see how much better a team can play with a true center?

You're joking, aren't you? I've hated Suns small ball since the days of Alvan Adams at Center (all 212 lbs. of him) since the 1970's.

I was banned twice for harping on it.

"Now do i see how much better a team can play with a true Center."? I've visualized it since I became a Suns fan forty years ago.

Please explain your comment. Or were you being facetious? :)

Edit: I see there were some other posters since my last post.

Actually, Lakers managed to kill our zone in the first couple of minutes. We changed to man, then came back with zone the rest of the game. Particularly the bench did a better job with their quickness. If not for Kobe hitting all those long jumpers in the 3rd, we'd have won the game already there. But we certainly can live with the outcome. :)

Yes, I was having a little fun with you. Just thought I'd give you another chance to revel in the fact we finally appear to have a real center.
