Come on guys - it's so simple! Instead of flying east to Miami, he headed west crossing many time zones as he circled the globe and arrived in Miami on Wednesday afternoon (the day before he left AZ) for a nice dinner with Peyton, et al. He then spent Wednesday night (at a Holiday Inn Express, no doubt) and flew west again towards AZ arriving 30 minutes before he actually left.

I think the reports said his plain was there. It would have been Rod and Whiz for all we know.

Hey, starting next week I can fly Southwest Airlines from Austin to Phoenix and get there in 15 minutes. Well, if I could afford the airfare.

There actually is a flight from Midland to El Paso that gets in 15 minutes before it leaves.

Yeah, what happened to the cheap SW flights? $400 for a round trip ticket to St. Louis from Phoenix.

SCENE: Miami FL. (it could be Peyton's Combo, an unoccupied office or an empty room at the Doral or Breakers).

"Knock, knock."

"Who is it?"

"It's Michael Bidwill (Wiz and Rod are outside in the car.")

"Take a number..."

What is the cut off date for paying Kolb the big bucks or letting him go? The Cards are not going to pay him all that money and then sign Peyton. I put the odds on he Cards signing peyton at 100-1. To much risk and to much money. He is 36 now and in 2 years we would be looking for a QB once again if his health did not put him out sooner. My instincts tell me that we will start the season with Skelton as our starter. This may not be bad at all as his upside looks very good to me. He really does show potential. More than Kolb IMHO>
Of course we would all like to see Peyton with the Cards but that is sort of short sighted. Could he take us to the SuperBowl? I have not a clue.

Kolb will start is why I want manning and skelton can take over after. They are not going to start skelton even if he out performs kolb in training camp.
