When you completely ignore the offensive line for the past 6 seasons. 1 draft pick in the top 3 rounds and zero impact free agents. Whiz would rather sign washed up ex Steelers and now we have an offensive line with more holes than Augusta National.

Whisenhunt has a plan. We're just waiting for Grimm to coach em up.

We lead the league in sacks allowed now at 28. next highest is 23, average is about 13. At least this game we gave up "only" 5 sacks, still twice the league average.

Don't forget all the times Kolb had to throw the ball away because of the pressure.

In a passing league, the Cards have held their last two opponents to 131 and 141 net yards passing and lost both games. Our offense is pasthetic.

Of course being the Cardinals and never doing anything normal they allow Miami 394 yards passing with two Miami receivers having career days and win.

They also are not stopping the run, esp. at critical junctures in games. Yesterday the Bills racked up 5.0 ypc against us. Not good.

The Cardinals are who they are, goofy loveable dysfunctional and wildly entertaining.

They can make a three point home loss epic, to Buffalo no less, truly even though it turned out bad it was the most exciting game of the week again, it usually is.

They are nothing if not epic in entertainment value.

We have spent money of Daryn Colledge, Adam Snyder and Alan Faneca. We have drafted and re-signed 1st round pick Levi Brown and UDFA Lyle Sendlein. We used 4th, 5th and 7th round picks last year on Bobbie Massie, Senio Kelemente and Nate Potter.

We have done things to improve our offensive line, but they have just not worked out so far. Now, I am on record stating some of these seem to be half measures, but there have been moves made. Hopefully we improve our professional scouting which leads to better free agent moves because most people saw Adam Snyder for what he is, terrible. While I like what we did in the 2012 draft, adding youth and athleticism, I do believe we need to add at least one dominant player to our offensive line to make the unit respectable. If we can add one player who can win one on one matchups, I think the offensive line improves greatly.

There were players out there to be had. Jeff Saturday for one. Carl Nicks, Eric Winston, Ben Grubbs, Demetress Bell, Steve Hutchinson to name a few were out there and we talked to none of these. But what was our big FA signing of 2012? William Gay, ex-Steeler. Surprise, surprise. The only offensive line signing we did was Brown and that isn't saying much.

Bell lasted one year with the Eagles.

Bell sucks. Glad we didn't spend money on him.

However I think you forgot the Cards dropped a bunch of cash on Adam Snyder last year.

Never could handle the weird offensive line system the Eagles use. He failed because instead of signing where he fit, he signed for money.....money he is now not getting cause he is cut.

Bell is hopefully not on the Cardinals radar screen right now.
