After getting creamed last week, the Vikings will be extra mad and ready to take out a lot of frustration. The Cards have everything going for it, or so it seems. Confidence is high, home field advantage, everything points the Cards way. This is just when the ceiling falls on a team. The Vikings have to have a win to stay in their race with the Packers. Cards, not so much. Will playing at home give the Cards a false sense of security? We'll see in a few hours.

You really think this team is so mentally undisciplined and lack so much toughness that they will take the team that is behind them, in their house, with 4 games left, a chance to clinch a playoff spot on national television, lightly???

I have a little more faith in our guys than that.

The Vikings are chasing us for the #2 seed. They can still catch us and have the tie-breaker if they win tonight. Plus, we play an even worse team next week.

Can that be considered a trap by any definition?

I am so tired of people saying, "oh, that team lost so they are going to be mad or fired up". Did any team ever say that about us when we lost?

This team know what it needs to do.

Every game could be called a trap game.

It's like it's impossible for us to just get beat anymore in some fans minds. If we lose it's obviously because we didn't take the game seriously. lol

It's the NFL, the eagles just beat the freaking Patriots at home and at one point had a 3 TD lead over the defending champs. The eagles are terrible!!! ANYTHING can happen in this league.

trap games only occur when teams with losing records surprisingly beat superior teams.

The Cardinals on average arent stopping anyone from scoring. The Vikings arent inferior with a 4th ranked defense
Even with a so called 5th over all ranked defense thee Cards/ theyve only had 3 blowout wins against SF,Lions, Rams.

both teams have allowed 232 points

team turnovers
Cards 19
Vikings 12

fumbles lost by player or team
Cards 10
Vikings 4
interceptions thrown
Cards 9
Vikings 8

penalties committed by team and accepted-both are very seldom penalized-ranked 29 and 30th.
Cards 73
Vikings 74

regardless of Vikings missing a couple players, all they need is a couple breaks.
a couple good pass plays by vikings and the blow out wont be going the direction you think it should

Believe it or not, I'm more worried about the Philly game than tonight's game, tbh.

Geeze, 48-23 against Chicago isn't a blowout?

Winning by 2 TD's (24 unanswered points) in Cleveland isn't a blowout?

They sure felt like blowouts.

The only game I can think of that we won in which we struggled with an significantly inferior team was San Francisco. Other than that, we've handled the pansies fairly well.

Minnesota is not a pansy, but it's a solid team decimated by injuries. Their biggest strength, defense, is missing four staters going up against the most potent offense in the NFL, at home, and on a short week.

Suffice to say, everything is stacked against the Vikings.

The troll is sticking around. Then again, what else is he going to do, go back to cheering for the LA Rams?

a blowout is rendering the other team ineffective.

allowing 23 and 20 points in games is not blowing anyone out.

thats 43 points allowed in 2 games. That does not qualify as a blow out.

So you didn't actually watch the games then. Thanks for verifying.

I just gave valid stats so you have an excuse when the Cards lose tonight.

Trolling has nothing to do with it nor am I doing any such thing.

I'm an nfl fan in general, the Rams having nothing to do with anything and I dont care if they succeed or fail.

Well, here's what the geniuses at Wikipedia have to say:

A blowout is an easy or one-sided victory. It occurs when one athletic team or individual performer outscores another by a large margin or in such a fashion that allows the second team or individual little chance of a victory from a point early in a competition, game, contest or event, e.g. Team A defeats Team B 75-10.

Just looked up a blowout definition. References point differential. Not my perception. You are actually imposing your perception on the definition. And you would be wrong. Again.

When the opposing team calls the lopsided loss embarrassing, I'll go ahead and call it a blowout.

Having been on the receiving end of plenty of blow outs I can safely say that us as Cardinal fans recognize one when we see it.

Your definition is your definition...good on you.
