No. It wouldn't.Would be a steal at #16 IMO. However if we sign Faneca, getting a talented young RB to pair with Edge might make a bigger impact.
You think we could put him at OLB in the 3-4 ?
I've been on this guy all year. He'll probably be a better player than Will Smith and i thought Smith was the overall best DE in his draft. At the beginning of the year he likey would've been available at 16 but he's played his way into a top 10 pick. I think our pick will be one of these 3 guys, Rashard Mendenhall, Dan Connor, or Derrick Harvey.
It may well be that we take DE/OLB and Cb in the first 2 rounds, but I would hope that the fates were simply smiling down on us and those were the 2 BPAs at the time, too. There is np doubt in anybody's mind that CB & DE are our first 2 picks, just in what order & who is there when we pick.

So what happened to the bpa theory everybody professes to love?
Let's see. Pick 13 options.
If Derrick Harvey is there he would probably be BPA, same for Malcolm Jenkins, Vernon Gholston, S Kenny Phillips. I feel 13 is too early to take Stewart, Mendehall may or may not be there, Malcolm Kelly is alot like Fitzgerald, McFadden, Long, Dorsey, Brohm, Ryan will not make it to 13. It just so happens that after the first 13 picks that either a DE (Harvey) or CB (Jenkins), even Phillips would be great (he could play CB I've heard) would be the BPA which just so happens to be our two biggest offseason needs? Agree?
If Gholston is there at 16, I think it's probably safe to say he's the BPA.So what happened to the bpa theory everybody professes to love?
