alot of overpriced under performing will be let go. Sweezy, Drake, Peterson, Hicks will probably be shown the street. Fitzgerald will probably retire. The cap goes to $175 million so it becomes convenient to not bring them back.

I wanted Peterson gone 3 years ago when you could get something for him, could tell he was beginning to check out when he pulled the “trade me “ stuff but since Keim is a mediocre GM he kept him

How much I would love to add a weapon like Pitts in our roster, since outside of Hopkins the group is below average, we must go defense
Cb
Pass rusher

Hicks need to be cut, I would try tallejo with Simmons to see if he can be a reliable starter in the middle

After the poor showing I changed my mind about peterson, is not good anymore unfortunately, move on

For the right price I would trade Budda baker, is a player who Excell in the highlights but has some flaws on his game

Obviously Vance Joseph must go

I don't know the market in March regarding ILB , pass rusher, defensive lineman
2 of the first 3 picks must be cornerback

Using both free agency acquisitions and the draft, here's my priorities.

1. Cornerback
2. Cornerback
3. Running Back
4. Wide Receiver
5. Outside Linebacker
6. Inside Linebacker
7. Offensive Guard
8. Defensive Lineman

Peterson isn’t going anywhere. And why do you guys get on him. ? Dude still shuts down 90% of the Wrs. I’m so glad that none of you run the Cardinals. Like Ross Perot once said about Clinton when he bragged about Arkansas’s budget being handled so well. Just because you can run your neighborhood piggly wiggly doesn’t mean you can be CEO of Walmart. There are handful of decent CBs and Peterson is one.

At this point, I think that Peterson is an average cornerback in the NFL. If he's willing to be paid like an average cornerback and not an elite cornerback, then I would be willing to sign him to a new 3 year contract. My guess is that Peterson grossly overestimates his value and leaves in free agency, only to be disappointed that no one else agrees with his self-assessment.

I agree that there will be some fat-trimming this offseason but more in terms of players not re-signed vs roster cuts..

A lot of it depends on who is coaching our defense, what we actually think about our interior offensive line, and how much help Kyler needs.
