Both O and D look like second rate clowns. But, it is often the case that the best teams spend a lot more time with backups and vanilla playcalling just to protect players from injury and also practice game strategies unrelated to the circumstance of the game. Every time we go 4-0 in the preseason we win 4 games in the regular season. 0-4 will be our preseason record, but we need to just get through it uninjured and trust the squad that won 14 games last year to do the same or better this time.

surprising Palmer has made a bunch of mistakes. Of course Fitz did not play but the other Wide outs looked pretty good. Let's get the game out of the way Thursday stay on the safe side and open the season on the right side I hope.

Our starting 'd' was in for two series, partially three and their one TD followed going on a 4th and 3 at the 19, something that wouldn't happen in the reg season.

They couldn't run the ball against us so they let Brock pick on second and third string corners no panic here! Not to mention they kept their starters for the whole first half against our backups. I won't worry unless we look like that in regular season play think Arians is playing it safe, which we all know won't be the case in real games that matter. We will still have a great offense and our D got better, the pass rush will help our secondary. Our pass rush was horrible last year I can't really see the D being worse than last year.

Well, on second watch the first team was better than I thought, but all we have other than Peterson is second and third string corners and that is a problem. Everybody who thought powers sucked should now have more respect for him, it was just dumb to let him go.
Palmer should not have thrown that first pick tip or not it was a bad throw. The second was mostly bad luck, but he should have been more aware.
The pass rush is noticably better, but with our corners I am not sure it is enough. We need to make a trade now especially with Jenkins hurt.

Vanilla vanilla vanilla, we will see a better defense when we start game planning and blitzing. It's preseason we game planned nothing Arians is no fool these games are practice, Palmer takes a shot and boom yank him no reason to not play safe. They see Palmer and the offense in practice daily and know what they have no reason to show anything yet! Like I said I will worry if we look terrible in real meaningful games. Like Someone else pointed out they don't go for it on 4th in a real game it's just practice we lost by giving them points with 5 turnovers, and not playing some of our best players. Arians will have them ready for regular season!
