Looks like he will put up 1100 yards this season with--for the most part--absolute trash throwing him the ball. He has had to make more catches of terrible throws than probably the rest of his career combined.

If he can put up 80-90 catches with this crap, it validates just how good he is IMO.

Yes, TDs are way down, but that is what you get when QBs cant play a lick for the most part.

It's really not the big deal your making it out to be. I could list a bunch of very good productive seasons by great WR's with trash throwing them the ball. I personally don't find it all that impressive. I have seen a plethura of cardinal WRs have monster years with trash at the QB position.

I agree he is a monster. But The QB IMO is irrelevant to that.

QB irrelevant? Are you serious our QBs combined have thrown like 13 touchdown passes all season. Fitz had 13 TDs in one year, last year! QB does matter if your QBs can't throw touchdown passes.

You have zero clue what I'm talking about. Obviously.

This is to help prove Shane's point.

Fitz this year has 1012 yards and 5 tds. Braylon Edwards has DA throw him the ball an entire season and finished with 1289 yards and 16 tds. Having a good QB helps but in the end it really doesn't mean much. The top WR on a team will still put up stats.

I hate to defend DA but he was playing at a whole different level that 2007 season. 29 total TDs thrown is impressive. His mechanics and poise were actually decent even though he wasnt very accurate. That has a lot to do with Braylon's 16 TD season that year. Even still, DA has regressed tremendously both physically and mentally since his pro bowl season.

What? Trash at QB?

Jake Plummer: Won the first Cardinals advancing playoff game in 50 years beating the COWBOYS on the road.
Steve Beuerlein: Threw for 4,436 yards and 36 TDs in 1999
Dave Kreig: Threw for 38,000 yards and 261 TDs in his career
Josh McCown: Combined with Kurt Warner to have the #1 passing attack in the NFL in 2005 with two WRs going over 1400 yards.
Kurt Warner: Super Bowl MVP. Won Cards first NFC Championship ever.
Tom Tupa: Played 15 years in the NFL.

Jeff Blake: Threw for 7,500 yards and 52 TDs over the '95-'96 seasons.
Neil Lomax
