Mississippi State did handle Oregon rather easily. Not sure what happened to Vandy, although the same Siena team smoked Stanford earlier this year although that was without Brook Lopez. I was definitely wrong on the ACC though, Duke looked absolutely horrible.

Duke did - they should have lost to Belmont. They didn't look like an eight-seed, let alone a number 2

Belmont crapped the bed, they had the game and simply froze up and stopped executing. Things aren't looking so good for Duke, they have zero frontcourt and aren't adding to it in the 2008 class for some reason and will be losing production this offseason in DeMarcus Nelson and maybe a couple others. Too many recruiting failures recently for Coach K, he needs to hit the circuit pretty hard this summer maybe even look for a transfer or JC guy.

It was nice to see 3 Pac-10 teams make it to the Sweet 16, but UCLA is the only one, IMO, with a real shot to advance.

Texas' guard play will exploit Stanford biggest weakness and WSU just doesnt have the talent to knock off UNC, they need everything to go right to beat Carolina.

It could've been a foul, but who knows?

Like with Bruce Bowen and NBA refs, UCLA hacks and slaps so frequently that only the grossly obvious ones seem to get called. Also the calls they get away with when they hedge off pick and rolls is flat out amazing but they do it every time down the court so the refs only call the really bad ones.

That's accurately put.

I just saw a replay of the final play in the A&M-UCLA game. Sloan got decked, there should've been a foul call IMO. Probably would've been one, had the roles been reversed.

Did any of you see it that way? Or, am I still biased by the gift calls UCLA got during conference play?

Even the LA Times saw it that way they had the pic on the front page of Shipp hitting Sloan's arm.

As for the would have been a foul the other way,the entire game was called that way Collison got a foul when Sloan threw him to the floor. Those refs were bad.
