Who guaranteed anyhting in this thread? I said "likely" which is a a very good chance of happening. Doersnt mean I wont be at the game rooting them on. Dont see how thats quitting. This team proves time and time again it isnt ready for big boy primetime football.

No need to take it personal. Posts #3 and #7 are the overreactions IMO.

I said in an earlier post the cards will get blown out in their first playoff game but in fairness to me the Cards have played like crap all month and are regressing and I have been boozing all day:)

Listen all you Kool aid drinkers - The point is to be THE BEST TEAM POSSIBLE. I am excited that we are better then have been. But we are supremely flawed and alot of it falls on the feet of our QB.

The sooner we get a O-line and RB in here the better.

Not personal just wonder you consider giving up on the team. Never personal.

I was pretty much expecting to lose this game badly.

The elements of this game are basically our ideal horror movie bad guy.

All excuses IMO. Time change is not an excuse because its an evening game. None of that getting uip at 4 am(on internal clock) BS to complain about.

Elements are pretty much non-existent. Its a beautiful night in Philly just a tad cold.

Philly is also on short rest and got beat the F up last week in Baltimore.

Well not many people give merit to "juice" and motivaion but I do. And the Eagles SHOULD be pissed and fired up.

But the fact that our team is not playing with its hair on fire with a Division Championship to be celebrated is embarrassing in itself.

I'm not talking about weather.

I'm talking playing in Philly, where we've sucked forever. Playing on the road, where we suck. Playing a short week, where we suck. Playing against a screen pass offense, where we suck. Playing in open air, where warner doesn't shine. Playing against a team that is motivated after getting destroyed...against a team fighting for playoffs...against a QB who owns us who was benched the week before....

While we came off a loss that basically means we can't get the #1 seed, and while we've basically got our division wrapped up.

We can't stop the screen pass, and that's the biggest deal. We can't stop westbrook, at all, but that's just part of it. All the other things add up to really bad times. Really bad times.

There is a difference between going to the playoffs and being a playoff team. The Cardinals are NOT a playoff team.
 . If you're in the playoffs, you're a playoff team. The cards are going to be fine and will end 10-6. It's building process. I don't see how anybody could not be happy with that. Next year we add some more pieces and then they'll be up their with the big boys. I'm not going off the deep end over a Thurday night loss in Philly. I expected them to lose this game. It's over and move on. The main thing is that they still will be the first team to clinch a division title this year. I think we should all be pissed about that :sarcasm:.

+! I agree. If they win the division, they're a playoff team. The Cards didn't create the division they're in. Hell, Bidwill didn't even want to leave the NFC East, right?

If they split the next four, they'll have their second winning record in the desert and first division title in over two decades. I'm still going to celebrate that. If they go 3-4, that's even more promising. Regardless, it's going to be pretty exciting to be opening up the playoffs at home.

Hopefully they are using the games like this to isolate weaknesses. A loss like this in the regular season leaves time for correction and preparation.

This may be true based on our time in the divison, but we have beat them enough times here in recent history for me to throw that out the window. The fact is we lost to a team that was NOT better than us last night. People will see that when the eagles get murdered in Washington, and NY.

Right, and they basically mauled us. It was a game they had to win. It was a game we could afford not too (WIN). Happens WAY TOO MUCH in the NFL these days.

Bottom line is these guys didn't lay it on the line on either side of the ball. Philly wanted it more and it was OBVIOUS.

The Patriots lost Tom Brady.

They didn't quit, but oh our team would have made golf reservations on their cell phones that day.

Excuses are for losers.

I don't care if I'm the last fan this team has. I'm going to the game against the Rams. I'll be up in section 444 getting a nose bleed. I'll be wearing red. I'll be screaming so loud that they'll hear me in Tucson. This is my team!

I don't care if some of you have been Cardinals fans since they were in Chicago. I don't care if you think it's the "same old Birds". I don't care if you get all beered up and start pissing on them because you think they are a lousy team.

This is my team Damit! And if they win the division this year or in ten years it's still going to be my team! Just because a couple of games don't go your way... Just because Whiz doesn't coach they way you want him to... Just because you don't like Warner or Q or the damn water boy... I don't give a flying leap!!

There is such a thing as fan loyalty. As loving a team in good times and when they suck. Because it's our team. It's the team of people who live where its 115 in the summer and the weak don't last 6 months. It's the team that's got a guy who was just about left for dead on the field, had his friggin face re-built and did it without pain killers. It's the team that has a 37 year old QB who can still thread the needle and make our hearts stop when a man wearing the number 11 catches it.

So two games in a row were lost. Because of that you throw in the towel? Dang, I'd hate to be around you on Christmas morning when Santa doesn't bring you every toy on your list!

Damn. If you people can't support a team that has done so well, and is going thru some tough times... FIND ANOTHER TEAM!!!

I don't care if this team breaks my heart. They are my team. I am a fan. I'll be there on the 7th with pride in my heart and Lord willing, for a whole lotta years to come!

Oh whatever.

Call me in 33 years if they're still pulling the same old same old.

Same old Cardinals.

SAME OLD CARDINALS.

You yell and scream and root for a team that is functionally broken.

Me I got better things to do, this loss pissed me off and I could give a rats ass what you or anyone else thinks of that.

My fan loyalty isn't up for discussion, I'm done, I'm going to wipe myself with their jersey and they can all go off and win a Super Bowl for all I care this team is dead to me.

Dems, I feel you my dude. But at the same time you and I have to part ways on being self medicated enough by the Kool-Aid/Ny-Quil to basically blow off losses. I have taken crap my entire life, been thrown out of bars, laughed at ridiculed, and have barely avoided physical fights over this team. And for that I should say "oh well" after a crap showing?? For all the "die-hardness" that you and I put forth, we are not just deserved, but OWED a decent effort on the football field. Blowouts happen, but poor effort and malaise will never be accepted by me. I don't give a damn what the record. I put too much in to this team to accept that. There's nothing wrong with undying loyalty, but you don't have to be the abused wife in the relationship who still stands by her man. This place allows us to vent (Mostly within reason, and sensibly by our fellow ASFN'ers) so you will have to know it's only natural fam.

What an embarrassment this team has become; they honestlly look worse than last season.

They are playing more like a 4-10 team. No heart, no effort, no focus, no fundamentals.

Monumental coaching failures and players satisfied with resting on their early season laurels.
