Last year when AZ beat Seattle on Sunday Night Football, I don't think I ever witnessed a team so mentally locked in. There was no way they were going to leave Centurylink Field with a loss. That team had the kind of mental toughness and belief that can get you a dramatic win in the playoffs when Aaron Rodgers hits a Hail Mary to send it to OT. The team was hungry every week and ready to play.
Fast forward to 2016, this team appears to be the polar opposite. Mike Floyd dropping balls, missed FGs, penalties, punting directly to Tavon Austin, poor play calling, terrible defensive schemes and look at the three QBs that have beaten them.
To win in this league you have to have talent, but mentally you have to be dialed in, especially when your defensive coordinator will put you in the position to lose week in and week out.
This team looks like they came into the year assuming they would roll over everyone and they don't look ready to play. Can they flip the switch? Maybe. If not I don't see how these guys win 8 game.
