The other thing is that he REALLY looks up to Patrick Peterson. REALLY. He took his number 7 when PP21 left, and in the NFL network interview, it was so obvious that he looks up to him as a big brother. He was also very clear that he recognizes he needs help to stay away from his pot habit, and is willing to accept it. I love this pick.

Yea that's pretty exciting.
What do you expect from a promo reel??

If the kid pans out he should help us for get the ghosts of #7 past.. If he gets #7.

What about a nick name? Stick w/ honey badger or something new like Tyrannosaurus?

I bet someone with some good editing skills can record a video of me taking out the trash and put it to a good music track and make me look REALLY REALLY good at it..

He doesn't need A nickname right now. He needs to become a healthy part of the family Cardinals. After he makes it through his first year, if he can show his talent on the field. Right now he is our biggest question mark??? lets discuss nicknames next year.

I'd bust the Cards chops for getting a druggie, but I don't think TM is that guy anymore. I believe he fully learned his lesson...and better now than later.

I think he could be a huge addition for special teams and at safety.

I was very pleased when we picked him.

He is one of the few players we drafted that I personally watched who really impressed me. Arkansas and LSU have a great rivalry so I got to watch him closely. He was clearly going to be a NFL DB and was a favorite of the LSU fans. If he stays straight he will be a great addition to our team and could end up being our best draft pick. He has awesome football ability. I thought he was another Patrick Peterson.

I could picture this guy in my mind with Peterson on an all pro team at the same time. He is going to help stop some of those passes. He did not shoot anyone or do crack or threaten anyone's life. He did pot from what I read and that is now legal in 9 states I think. I do not know how addictive pot is but he has a chance to become a multi-millionaire. If he passes on that then he truly is not worth having. The only thing I ever smoked was corn silk when I was 9. I think that is why I never became a smoker when nearly everyone smoked or used snuff. I still would not know how to inhale.

I'm on the record right now that he is gonna wash out. I've seen alot of interviews with him and he just doesn't seem mentally right. He talks and I hear Mike Tyson and Ricky Williams. It's like his brain isn't wired right.

Maybe it's semantics, but twice I've heard him say "everything was taken away from me". No, you pissed everything away, nothing was "taken" from you.

I hope I'm wrong, but it's just a feeling I have.

My interpretation was that everything was taken away from me as a result of my addiction to grass. He's been brutally honest about his role in all of this and I don't doubt he's contrite. Time will tell.

He isn't saying that everything was taken away as to say that it wasn't his fault or that he didn't deserve it. He is saying that he messed up and thus everything was taken a away from him. Now that he knows what it is like to have football taken from him he is going to do everything in his power to not let that happen again.

He said everything was taken away but he did it to himself. Lol, do you work for TMZ?

What do you hear when you listen to Ray Lewis? Because I get some of that vibe from him. Not that it matters at all, it's a ridiculous thing to judge a football player on.

Still not happy with this pick, an undersized, pot smoking troublemaker who only bench presses 4 reps. And already making headlines about contract demands, here we are only a few days out of the draft. He should be happy he was given the chance. As a 3rd, not worth the risk; as an extra 4th/5th maybe.

The no guarenteed money thing was just rediculous and I'm not sure that is even legal according to the CBA for a 3rd round pick to get zero guarenteed money. Also is it him that's bringing this up or his agent? Because part of the agent's job is to make sure his player isn't getting screwed over. So even if the player is willing to take no guarentees that doesn't mean the agent is just going to step aside and let it happen.
