Russell Wilson lines up under center. Does 1/2 an inch make that much of a difference.

Exactly 1/2 inch isn't changing anything. Everyone's being a cry baby, this is the funnest draft I've ever had with the Cards. If your a Murray crybaby and pouting it wouldn't be fun, but there is a chance Kingsbury could be building a offense around Murray just that is exciting, or that the Cards could add 1 of 2 killer D lineman is super exciting after adding so much to the D already, or they could trade down and get a bunch of picks in a draft filled with great D prospects, is even more exciting.

The Cards have the #1 pick, the 1st pick in the 2nd, how can you not be excited, that's crazy talk. This is a super fun off-season! Cards are constantly being talked about lighten up, this is Great!

Eyeball test. He easily outran CBs on his long runs.

Murray isnt running the 40 because he doesn't want people to think of him as Vick.

He threw for more yardage in one season than Vick did in two. Even mentioning the two in the same sentence makes no sense. Before I did any research on Murray, I believed he was a "running QB". I learned I was WRONG, he is a QB who can run.
Murray has tape on some things and little tape on others.

His off-season spoke volumes to me.

"Want to know if I am fast? Watch the tape".
"Want to know if I can throw on the run? Watch the tape".
"Want to know if I am shifty and can elude a pass-rush? Watch the tape".
"Want to know if I can be a pocket passer? Then here is my pro day".
"Want to know how tall I am? Then here is my combine height".
"Want to know how heavy I am? Then here is my combine weight".

He only answered the questions he needed to answer. And I think that was very smart of him.

The Cardinals don't have a poor defense. Even last year, they were a middle of the pack defense even though they were running a scheme not suited to the personnel.

I expect the Cardinals to be around the top 10 defenses in the league this year with the additions they've already made.

What the Cardinals have is an awful offense. Adding a potential generational talent at QB who could change their fortunes quickly.

A potential generational QB is already on the roster.

Yep.

Another question that wasn't answered, was competition. There is a legit concern about the defenses he faced. He only really faced one good defense all year, and he wasn't nearly as good....though he still led his team to over 30 points....

He could be. You can ignore his history of excellence and his elite measureables (4.3 speed) and his arm, but the fact remains he can be that good.

What 4.3 speed? Proof of this?

Shane.....I do like Josh Rosen....but that is an absolutely ridiculous take. Outside of his Sr. year at St. John Bosco, it's a ridiculous idea that Rosen is a generational talent.

The reason I state Murray can be one is because he has a very unique blend of skills that few players have. Josh Rosen is Eli Manning V2.0 at best. Eli Manning is not a generational talent, since he was at best 4th or 5th best QB of his generation. I'd argue he wasn't even the best QB in his class.

How fast does he look to you? 4.8? Is he Rosen fast?

Does he run past cornerbacks with ease? Yes he does. It doesn't really matter if he is a 4.3 (I think he is) because he obviously is very fast.

According to some experts Murray isn't even the best QB in this draft class.

According to Daniel Jeremiah he is only the 12 best rated prospect in the entire draft. Hell hes got White the LBer from LSU rated higher as a prospect. Lol

As a QB??

According to who?

And who is better, Dwayne Haskins? Mr. throws the ball 3-5 yards on most plays? The guy who throws wound ducks all over the field? Horrible accuracy that is buoyed by an offense predicated on short throws.

Even if he's the 12th best prospect...it's a QB...they will always rank higher. Also it's nothing but prospecting...no one knows...even all of us.

That's a ridiculous rating system because QBs inherently have more value. If a QB is good enough to be rated in the 1st round, it should pretty much be top five rated because of positional value.

That's dinosaur thinking that would put Murray behind White (who I actually really like).

I would too...LOL.

I like Rosen....I just think Murray is going to be appreciably better. I think on average he'll be good for two more wins per year over Rosen. That's worth trading Rosen for.
