Air Raid Warning!
J.J. Moses is the returner. Outstanding ball security. Knows what he's doing. some good solid returns there. Plays with and exudes confidence in the return game. Nothing seems to rattle him. He made the team tonight. That probably means Dan Sheldon is gone, possibly to return to practice squad.
Very disappointed in J.J. Arrington. Delighted with the Tugboat. James Jackson probably beat out Damien Anderson for the #3 RB slot with tonight's performance, although he had huge holes early in the 2nd half after Denny gave em hell in the locker room.
Passing game is gonna have to carry the offense, because the run-blocking is not good.
Eric Johnson was one of the few defenders and/or special teamers who looked good to me. He was one of the few guys out there, who showed the ability to make a tackle. Those guys would be great if they were playing touch football
This is not the kind of performance you want to enter the regular season with. Our run defense was absolutely horrible from beginning to end. And the pass defense was incredibly soft all night. Blitzes were not getting to the Bronco QBs against their second team O-line.
It's hard to optimistic after seeing this fiasco. OTOH, it should be easy for Denny to find 16 people to cut. The hard part may be finding second string defenders.
