Since there is only time to watch 4 full games on Saturday do you watch parts of several games? Also I don't remember too many VT or Wash State games being televised here in Austin, and the Thursday games usually do not involve BCS conference teams. So do you buy, what is it, ESPN college football package? Of course I'm the opposite of you I like NFL football far more than college football so I'm not really looking for out of market college games.

DVR Ducky. I do the same. I go into the college season with a list of players on teams that I want to watch and then I DVR all of those games. Most of the time I don't really care about the teams so I can just watch the snaps I want to watch while my wife is at work and skip the rest.

Semantics?

It could be considered that. I differentiate between the two because I have always stressed the importance of beating pressure when coaching. Essentially, the more players rushing means more opportunities to make big plays. The difficult part for a QB in those situations is to make the correct pre snap read to determine where single coverage is so he has an idea of where he is going to go with the ball after he confirms his pre snap read.

From what I have seen, Thomas does a good job of trying to beat pressure with throws and his feet, but he isn't practiced enough with his pre snap reads so sometimes he takes a shot to the wrong WR and the wrong matchup.

When I think of panic, I think of the QBs whose heads whip around and then they fold down to take a sack or make an inaccurate pass to an outlet player.

No not really.

One is correctable the other isn't. The correctable one is the one we drafted and I'm fine with it.

That doesn't mean he'll be good at all but I understand the riskvreward of it.

I am fine with the pick even if it fails utterly because they waited and drafted him low enough that it's worth the risk IMO.

I suspect not even they know for sure it'll work I'm pretty sure it was a reasonable pragmatic pick.

What I'm not fine with is having no real alternative to Carson Palmer this year because his picks infuriate me.

FWIW  . . .

The other day on either 620 or 910 AM there was some discussion related to Logan Thomas and the Cardinals. I wasn't really listening very intently, so I don't recall which program or who was speaking but . . . the relevant comment was that one of the positives with Logan Thomas is his football knowledge and understanding. That talking schemes etc. with Thomas, that he came across as being very astute.

Sorry, I can't recall the conversation more clearly, as my attention was not focused upon it; but I did hear something of that sort.

Everything I have heard is that is has good football smarts and his interviews impressed people... that is what I heard :)

if you have Dish network the Pac 12 channel is automatic...adding the SEC channel this summer too........two good channels to have if you want to get a look at upcoming draft prospects.

I have AT&T Uverse. Switched from Directv as it was considerably cheaper. They only have the Big10 network as far as I know.

I don't have time to DVR and watch college games. That available time is used watching NFL Replay's all-22 of Cardinal games and games of the Cards opponent for the next week.

But at least now I know how some of you can watch so many games of college teams out of your area.

Thanks
