Thoughts on the new format for the site?

What would you give the new look to the site?

  • A- Love it

  • B- Good, but still figuring it out

  • C- It's ok and can be a little confusing

  • D- Not the best, but I'll deal with it

  • F- Any chance of getting the old one back???

I don't care for all the wasted space inside the message area nor in the message separators - kill the black bar and put the heading data in the gray bar in black type. I would like a slightly larger font for the text - the italicized quote is the most challenging thing for me to read. I can make it all out but I can read much faster when its trivial to read. A way for me to set the type size I prefer would be ideal... or maybe it already exists and I'm ignorant of how to utilize it.

I like the shortening for long quotes.

ALL THE DAMNED TIME. If "Reply" could be changed to "Quote" and "+ Quote" could be changed to "Multi-Quote" (or even "Multi"), it would be infinitely better. Or, at the very very least, swap places with them if the names can't be changed.

Do we even need the "Multi" button? I could never get it to work, but I did just stumble into seeing that if you just press "Quote" on multiple posts, it quotes all of them in the reply box at the bottom of the page.

if I push quote, it quotes that post and has my typing. If I choose multi, I can continue reading the thread and all of the different posts I want to quote and reply to stay in my clipboard so when I do go to reply, I can quote everyone instead of one at a time.

This is a good point. The button for changing the font size is odd. It's not obvious what the T button is for.

I'd still like to get rid of the + button and have a dedicated button for quotes. Also, when the quote tags do appear, it would be nice if the cursor would be automatically placed in between them, so that it is faster to paste in what we've already copied from another site.

usually when I "like a post" it just likes it.

Sometimes it brings me to a new screen and says "are you sure you want to like this post"

Is it because the peoples posts I like are usually preposterous?

Maybe it's the quantity of posts you like? I don't get that popup, but I rarely "like" posts.

I've never seen this, either, but it's a funny concept. I've added some new messages to the code.

"Are you sure about that?"

"Really? Come on now."

"Dude, what are you thinking?"

"Are you drunk? That post is terrible. Go read something by krepitch."

LOVE the new ignore feature and how you don't even see that someone posted unlike with the previous site and how you could see they posted, but just not see the post.
