Say your finances are the way they are right now today and the cards wer egoing in Miami? Would you do it?

Maybe 1,000 each IF I could find a friend to stay with and a cheap flight. Three thousand total would be my limit.

If I'm drawn for Super Bowl tickets next year, I'll go only if the Cards are playing. I'll sell under any other circumstances, even if it means no Super Bowl in my lifetime.

This thread shows that not many "real" fans actually go to the Bowl.

That's a lot of freaking money. I think I'd buy a big screen and through a major party instead.

I would. If the Cardinals make it to the Superbowl that's a sign of the apocolypse so saving money obviously doesn't matter because the world's about to end anyway.

$5-$6k that includes airfare/hotel/tix is high, but it is the Superbowl. If I could reasonably swing it (say credit card, but able to pay it off in one year), I would absolutely do it if the Cards made it. Seriously, we may never see another SB visit in our lifetimes. While watching it on TV (as I did when the D-Backs won the WS) would be a blast, being there for the victory would be so much better. And I could tell my friends/kids/grandkids/everyoneitalkto that I was there. Wouldn't seeing the Cards win in person be worth it? Yeah, I know, what if they lose? Well, if they make it that far, they'll win. The Magic 8 Ball said so.

2 weeks ago, tix on the street started at $3k/each. BTW $600 is the face value. Acquaintence of mine bought 4 @ $4k each. I have heard sideline seats are going for $10.5k scalped.

Hotel prices on the beach are 4 night minimums $1200/night.

BTW, absolutely no tailgating.

The prudent answer is 'no'. That's a lot of money, and it would strap us for a while. And you can see so much more on television surrounded by other Card fans.

But if they really were in the Superbowl, oh man. We had a chance to go to the Dallas playoff game in 1998, but at the time money was a big issue, and we kept saying how really awful we'd feel watching them lose in the Cowboy stadium. To this day I regret not going.

If there were a way to do it, I'd go.

Same here I'd skip the Superbowl but I'm going to any road playoff game there may be dammit. If the Cards did make the Superbowl I will need to take the week before off just to soak in all the hype / love & probably disrespect
