I paid a deposit here at a local sporting goods store to Customize an away Jersey with the Cardinal bird on the sleeves. When I became a fan of the team Jim Hart #17, Terry Metcalf #21, & Roy Green #81 were the players most notable. Later came Ottis Anderson #32 & EJ Junior #54... I'm torn as to who to get!!!! I want to select the player that personified Cardinal Football...Much like Larry Wilson #8. ( I never got to really see him play though:( I'm leaning toward Anderson #32 although he left for the Giants:( & Roy Green #81 certainly don't want to jinx the Quan.....Maybe the Roy Green & Dennis Green combo will bring us some long overdue good luck...please help with some ideas. I'm tired of paying for Jersey's & the players are no longer with us....

How about Jackie Smith (I think he was also #81)? He and Larry Wison were two of the toughest football players to ever play the game.

You're right, he should've been a nose guard. Well, at least he had the footspeed of one :)

Didn't the Cards wear a Chicago Cardinals throwback in 1994? I could be wrong though. If they did does anyone know where to buy one? You'd think with throwbacks as big as they are the Team Shop would stock some. But then again you'd think they would have Boldin jerseys during the season as well.

Back in 1994, if I remember correctly, it was just plain... white helmet... white jersey... kacky pants. No logos, just #'s. I could be mistaken, but that's what I remember. I remember we played the steelers and their throwbacks were awful. It was like a beehive jail!

How about a throwback Helmet to go with your jersey?

Seriously I'll take a Jim Hart or A Roy Green Jersey.

Or a Neil Lomax #15 as a tribute to a great player who's career was cut short. Also spans the move from St. Loo to AZ.
