After the Thunder lost to Trailblazers last night they will visit the Suns tonight. The game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. Arizona time. Both teams will be playing in the second night of a back-to-back games.

Here are some comments from the ESPN Preview.

The Thunder and Suns have met twice previously this season, with three things in common: The games were played at Oklahoma City; the Thunder prevailed both times; and Westbrook was virtually unstoppable.

Spectators at the Talking Stick Resort Arena might expect to see a bit of a fatigued Westbrook, as he had to endure 37 tough minutes in a 114-109 loss at Portland on Thursday night. He scored 45 points in the loss, but he put his right arm through an extensive workout with 36 shots, including 16 3-point attempts. He made just 12 shots overall, six of them 3-pointers.

Thunder newcomers Doug McDermott (37 minutes) and Taj Gibson (33 minutes) both also worked up quite a sweat in Thursday's loss. They were part of a new-look bench that for the first time also featured Norris Cole, who was signed off the unemployed ranks this week.

Going to my first game in a few years tonight! A friend hooked me up out of the blue and I was invited to be a supplementary photographer for Al Macoy's induction into the ROH!

I get to step on the court and everything! I'm so stoked. So if you're at the game and you see a chubby albeit ruggedly handsome photographer, throw something at me!

Congratulations. You will see history tonight when Al McCoy is inducted into the Suns Ring of Honor.

This is from an article written by Doug Haller st azcentral:
Fourteen times in Suns history, Al McCoy has stood at center court in downtown Phoenix and introduced the latest member of the Suns Ring of Honor, an emcee of excellence.

Friday night, as the Suns host the Oklahoma City Thunder, the longtime voice of the Suns will see what it’s like from the other side, becoming the 15th member of this privileged group.

“I have emceed every one of the guys up there,” McCoy said. “I said at the time (of the announcement), ‘What am I going to do, record my own intro?’ ”

McCoy is in his 44th year of calling Suns games, the longest play-by-play tenure in NBA history. Throughout his stay, he has become synonymous not only with the Suns, but with Arizona sports.

“With Al, it’s like you’re sitting there watching and listening to the game with your grandfather,” said Charles Barkley, a Ring of Honor member who played for the Suns from 1992-96. “This is long overdue.”

Should be a fun game, especially with you being able to get up close for the ceremony. I went to the Nash ROH Induction last year and it was really cool then but has gotten better with time.

Right now the Suns can't score inside and they can't shoot the ball outside.

The Thunder have some beef.

Ulis has brought the Suns back. Thunder only lead 32-31. He is not getting a lot of assists but he knows how to run a team.

Derrick Jones down on the floor after elbow by Westbrook.

He finally gets up. It looks like he may have a bloody nose. He stays in the game.

That was a hard hit too.

Westbrook and Jones with a flare-up. Both get technicals. It appeared Westbrook initiated it.

Suns lead 37-36.

Ulis with a great move to score under the basket.

It looks like Jones. Jr. has become a target.

Billy Donovan OKC coach gets a technical.

They need to play Derrick Jones as much as possible for revenge. Put Len in as the enforcer.

Jones Jr is taking on Westbrook with a passion. He does not back down. Westbrook does not like it one bit.

I really hope the Suns aren't stupid enough to win this game. I get that the players won't tank on purpose but as a coach, you have to be smart. A few more losses for Watson's record won't harm all that much while getting a top rookie prospect could extend his time as HC for the next several years if that pick pans out.

It's time to bench Williams and Ulis and go with Chriss or Len at C along with Brandon Knight playing at least 20-25 mins.

Too bad Chriss missed that dunk. He seemed to lose control.

We should honor AL McCoy by letting him play in the second half. That would be the ultimate tribute! He can take Bledsoe's place.
