Don’t be ridiculous. Bridges is bar none one of the best two way players in the entire league. The Nets were getting multi pick offers from other teams (one was a 5 pick offer) to retrade him after going to the Nets.

STOP.

I expect two-way players to not get cooked for 40+ by average perimeter players. I also expect two-way players to at least make guys like Luka work for theirs. MI expect two-way players to at least be serviceable in the playoffs. Mikal wasn’t that player and as a result, was expendable on this team.

I like Mikal. I really do. But the pedestal he is put on throughout this fanbase is beyond absurd.

Nobody in the league stops Luka. STOP. He has gotten better each and every single year. When we needed him this last month he stepped up.

Also, it’s not just this fan base. It’s the entire league. I agree that this fan base tends to overvalue its players. However, that’s not the case when teams are lined up to get him at the trade deadline.

So, I guess you know more than the entire league.

“Look at the deliciousness from Deandre Ayton on that offensive rebound. Not only was that effort top notch, but he looked damn sexy doing it. Gosh. With how talented, good looking, and intelligent he must be, he should be our starting center, coach, general manager, and the governor of Arizona all at the same time.”

How I must sound in @cheesebeef’s mind

Point to where I said, “stop.”

Okogie is @TJ best point to the Bridges thing
We've had so few quality two way wings in our 50 plus years in the league, I'm okay with the fan base overrating an above average two way wing. Just like I'm okay with overvaluing a plus power forward or center that can play both ways.

Ayton for all his faults is still a top 8 player in the league at his position. He is very valuable
Top 8 player at a position that isn’t that important in the NBA anymore just doesn’t have that much value, especially when it comes with a Max contract. JMO.

I don’t understand why Monty stays with a defense that CONSTANTLY lets teams have open 3s.
