Tuesday, Reid was going to HC in Arizona, and we were hoping Horton would be a part of the Reid program

Yesterday, Reid spent 8 hours with the Chiefs, Horton came out all smiles after talking to Mikey, and said flat out he plans to be a HC this year.

Thursday:

Should get some news on the Az/Walrus meeting, if it's cut short, like less than 2 hours short...we might have to drop him from the goose chase. At some point, the goose chase will probably turn to McCoy and also the college coach Mikey has hinted on a couple times.

Andy's agaent probably told the Walrus to speak very slowly and take many bathroom and eating breaks so he can spin it well.

After all the Tuesday reports of Reid 95% Cardinal yada yada, we have to remember that was the day Horton got his first interview with Mikey. All those reports come out about Andy and BOOM!!! Cardinals host a second meeting with Horton, and this time Keim is in on it.

I'm beginning to think they told Horton they don't know where the 95% Walrus crap was coming from, and that the Cards were indeed taking Horton's candidacy very seriously.

But it's all a goose chase at this point, and I always lose at those.

I don't see Haley getting the HC gig, OC at the most and that seems highly unlikely to me. I remember the local radio show joking just the other day that if Haley was found poisoned, there would be like 200 suspects.

Funny and all but that kind of reputation can limit an HC in this League. The Steelers aint in the playoffs and Haley isn't in the booth with Mikey and Horton so for now the coast is clear.
