The goal is to win. Period. I don't give a crap what it looks like and I certainly don't expect Carson Palmer to resemble Manning. Just win...

Then we should sign Vince Young & ASAP & let him improve his 31-19 record as a starter & cut Palmer then. :D;):D

Because your standards, your goals, should be attainable. We were a horrible offense last year, aiming for a 2012 Ravens type performance makes a lot more sense than judging us against last night's Denver offense.

The 2012 Ravens offense got their OC fired during the season...

The 2012 Cards offense got every coach fired including the defensive coordinator. Getting just your OC fired sounds about right for a 2013 Cards goal.

I truly felt I was watching the '76 Yucs offense in Cardinals uni's last year! It was monumentally bad!!! Minus the 1st 2-3 games

I remember McKays answer to the question about his teams execution "I'm all for it, next question". Lol

John was a pretty funny guy but I think he must have paid to get that question lobbed his way, what a setup line. But yes, the Cards last year (especially with Lindley QBing) is likely as close as you will ever see an offense come to matching 1976 TB's ineptitude. At least it's as close as you'll see until the league decides to expand again.

Peyton Manning threw for more TDs in week 1 than the Cheifs threw all of last season and just 4 less than the Cardinals threw all of last season.

Actually, K.C. had 8 TDs in 2012, but yeah, pretty amazing stat nevertheless! Also, Baltimore gave up their 7th passing TD in week 10 last year!

There are dumb players, who "celebrate" ( euphemism for act like an ass clown ) prematurely, and smart players like the offensive player who knocks it out of the end zone for a touchback, instead of dropping on the ball for a safety.

Actually, it still would've been a touchback, since a Denver player had possession of the ball and provided the impetus that took the ball into the end zone.
