GIN BLOSSOMS TO PERFORM FOLLOWING SUNS GAME THIS FRIDAY
The Gin Blossoms, who have gone from a regular Tempe band to a worldwide
rock music phenomenon, will perform following Friday night's (March 12)
Phoenix Suns vs. Utah Jazz game at America West Arena. The concert is part
of the Bud True Music series, sponsored by KZON Radio (101.5 FM) and the
Suns, and will take place on the Paseo on the Arena's east side. The Gin
Blossoms sold more than six million records with their first two releases,
which spawned hits such as "Hey Jealousy", "Found Out About You", "Follow
You Down" and #1 hit, "Til I Hear It From You". Admission to the concert is
FREE and exclusive to all Suns fans attending Friday's game.

CHARLES BARKLEY RING OF HONOR WEEKEND
Charles Barkley, the NBA's Most Valuable Player in 1993, will become the
tenth person to be inducted into the Ring of Honor during halftime of the
Suns vs. Bucks game on Saturday, March 20 at America West Arena. The
celebration will begin on Friday, March 19 during the Suns-Minnesota
Timberwolves game with 10,000 Charles Barkley bobbleheads being distributed.
A "scratcher card" system will be used to determine who will receive a
bobblehead for the March 19 game; this will not be a first-come,
first-served giveaway. The lighter, more comical moments of Barkley's
career will be highlighted throughout the March 19 game, while a more
serious look at Mr. Barkley's basketball achievements will be honored on
March 20. Charles will be sitting courtside on both nights.
