I'm going to try to get tickets to a show where tickets are often hard to obtain ... this is my first time trying to do such a thing in the valley and was wondering if anyone had any luck w/a particular chain

is Fry's actually decent to get tickets from?

any place in the west valley specifically?!

Any help would be greatly appreciated ... my man Jimmy Buffett is coming back into town and those shows sell out w/in 20 minutes and tickets go on sale monday

I use to work at Wherehouse Entertainment for about 4 years, the ones that sell tickets are really good because there are never lines. THe only down side is that there are only a few left. The one on Gilbert and Baseline one of the ones I worked at that had ticketmaster that is still around. I would recommend them, but I would call first to see if they still have ticketmaster, since I have not worked there in a few years and since they have greatly downsized. Just avoid the one on Longmore, they do get ticket lines.

Just curious....why wouldn't you get them on ticketmaster.com? That's typically where we get tickets for shows and and have had decent luck getting good seats there. Or am I just out of touch?

often hard to connect ... we have one person w/a high speed connection working that route, while myself and a friend are going to different ticket lines

these things sell super quick and I don't want to get shut out, then you end up paying over $100 for a lawn seat which on my budget sucks

i tried one year when I was living in philly to get tickets to the camden show, boston show, maryland show and pittsburgh show online w/a DSL connection and was shut out on all

Although I did have luck getting lawn seats online for WI, while getting pavilion at the dept store

he hasn't played here in a while and there is some buzz amongst fans (and i'm sure the bastard ticket brokers as well...........)

Next Saturday (the 29th) is going to be Ticketmaster madness. U2 tickets are going on sale next Saturday morning at 10am. The U2 tour dates are being announced Monday morning, but I've heard they'll be playing two nights in Phoenix in April. Billy Joel tickets are also going on sale next Saturday. Billy Joel is playing one special concert at America West Arena on March 31st. The only concert he's scheduled for the entire country.

How'd you do getting tickets Migrating? We got online and got two sets within the first half hour this morning. Two in section 105, second row in that section. Two in section 202 row MM. Those two will be going on ebay closer to the concert date! I figure I'll make the starting bid what we paid, but knowing how well Jimmy tickets sell on there, I'm sure it'll go for more! Hey, maybe that set will pay for the ones we'll be using!

105?! ... wow, great seats

we ended standing in line (1st in line) and up getting section 202 row EE and seats that are closer to the stage than the edge

we also were able to get 202 MM online

the third person was also first in line, but their machine couldn't get through for the first 6 minutes, so the best they got was in section 300, which were sold on spot to others in the line

all in all not bad .... will be a great show and cricket is a nice venue

How did you guys score U2 tix? I'm part of the fanclub and it doesn't show a presale date for the April 14th show?
