I know most of this stuff is bs, but here is what someone from the suns board had to say. He said that this was on Xtra Sports 690 in LA:

-----------------
[font=geneva, arial]heres my report for today:

-Shaq refuses to meet with Laker officials to resolve the issue. He is still demanding a trade.

-The Clippers and Knicks will be the 1st two teams to talk to Kobe starting Thursday.
If Kobe, not his agent chose to meet with the Knicks and Clips first, chances don't look too good for us.

-On Thursday also, Nash will meet with Dallas, then Denver.

-Spurs will meet with Manu.

-Clippers have stated they will match any offer made to Q.

-Rumored trade: Dampier goes to Indiana for Al Harrington, Croshere, and Fred JOnes.

#1) It's sports radio in LA--notorious for being rumor-mongers.

#2) If the Clippers match Q, then they won't be able to afford Kobe.

#3) The Knicks meeting is strictly PR.

#4) Kobe meeting with the Clips now is convenient since it IS in LA. I seriously doubt he'll be flying to NY--more likely Isaiah comes here.

#5) That's a terrible trade for Golden State, although at least they'd get something rather than nothing.

#6) Nash in Denver is nothing but posturing--that alone is a worthless rumor and seriously compromises credibility.

I dont think the trade is that bad for the Pacers. I mean Croshere is a horrible contract, Fred Jones isn't anything special.

They seem determined to trade Al Harrington, so if they can get Damp at a decent contract, it will most likely be about even.

I find it funny that these meetings are supposedly already scheduled. I was under the impression that couldn't happen. It doesn't really matter anyways, if the Suns meet with Kobe in the first few days I will be satisfied. Looking at all the other situations, Kobe has his best option here, outside of LA (which I dont really think will be a great place next year anyways).

Nash meeting with Denver is one of the stupider things I have heard of.

Denver is not in the Kobe run and have money to burn. Andre Miller wasn't exactly good in the second half of the season.

I could see them going for Nash and play Miller at the 2 like what they do with their Boykins/Miller lineups.
It would be close money-wise but they could offer 8M$ to Camby and Nash and sign and trade Nene for Martin.

Camby/
Martin/
Carmello/
Miller/
Nash/

Or they could work a sign and trade for Nash or trade Miller. Miller is almost as old as Nash.

My only worry is that the suns dont bring him in at all because of the court case situation or that he refuses to meet with them. I guess only time will tell... As far as the Indiana trade, the pacers make out like bandits assuming that dampier plays next season the way he played this season.

There's no chance of that. The Suns have to be buying all of this cap space for a reason. They may not have a clear idea of their chances of landing Bryant, but it's a forgone conclusion that they're going after him.
