The Centralia boys soccer team's three-game winning streak came to an end in Renton on Wednesday, as the Tigers lost to Lindbergh 1-0.

The Tigers conceded in the second minute of the game, though they were able to settle in defensively to keep the game from getting out of hand.

They began to generate more chances in the second half, but never found an equalizer.

"Just couldn't finish," Centralia coach Noel Vazquez said. "We were the better team in the second half but still came up short."

Alejandro Arevalo did his part in net, coming up with eight saves. The Tigers finished with 15 shots, 12 of which were on goal.

Centralia (3-1) will look to get back in the win column on Tuesday, when it hosts Black Hills in its league opener.
