He was a good story as a fifth round pick who was a decent third down and goal line back. But he is, absolutely, NOT a quality NFL back and his putrid yardage per carry figure doesn't lie.

I think Beanie Wells could have done some damage tonight against one of the worst run defenses in the league. But Whiz was going to prove a point to Beanie about ball protection by over-utilizing a back with no speed and no upside in Hightower. What did this get us in the first half? No decent runs, a botched handoff to Boldin, and a fumble when the Cards were about to go up 10-0.

Whiz sure proved his point to Beanie tonight. Why did Whiz even draft Beanie?

Lets hope Beanie get's the calls in the 2nd half;)

I am glad that Hightower is such a great goalline back. As you can see, he is so great, that we have to throw on first and goal with a timeout and time for several plays

you have to start using Wells to run the ball. He' so much better than TH it isn't funny. What'd he get 2 freakin' carries in the 1st half?

Hey I can see that Wells is a better runner too. The problem though isnt Hightower IMO. Its our stupid draw plays and slow developing run plays. Timmy seems like he always had a player in the backfield with him when he getting the ball. He the kind of RB you just give it to and go. No freaking delays of any kind.

I conceed that Shane knows more about the game than me and I think that we can all agree that there is something VERY wrong with the playcalling on offense. And this resulted in a worst case scenario exposure of our secondary.

Whiz just cant call plays and coach the team; We need an OC

Some of you guys are lost.

Are you watching this Oline? Nobody could run behind this group of clowns.

Not to mention you have Kurt and his slow handoffs.

I see the Colts are using their rookie running back, Donald Brown. He is fortunate that he isn't buried on the bench behind an All Pro Superstar like Tim Hightower.

I second the crowd on this most recent Hightower carry. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
