Another strength that Hightower has is catching the ball. He is great catching the ball running out of the backfield.

You have to realize, Shane, that game threads are spontaneous and emotional reactions to the things happenning at that moment. These are not well thought out or well analyzed comments. Game threads are game threads that should only be visited for the fun of it but not for any serious discussions. I have said many things during the course of a game on the game threads that I laugh at if I ever revisit that thread.

+1

I'm just ecstatic that the Cards have a legit threat or two(or three after seeing some of the runs LSH has pulled off) at RB :)

We're lucky to have two good backs when for years we couldn't find even one. Maybe we can avoid the sorts of ******** arguments we had over who was better, Fitz or Boldin, for years in regards to Wells and TH?

Yup! I appreciate the effort these guys put in. The nice thing is that both should be Cardinals for the foreseeable future. Hopefully they can stay healthy and productive.

HT loses fumbles. Wells fumbles dont result in turnovers usually. I think TH played a great game but I bet you give Wells the reigns and the start you will see a whole different gear.

Every HOF RB said it takes some plays to get going and its real hard to do if your Wells coming in 1 out of every 6 plays.

The fumbles are a concern, especially after Edgerin James who almost never lost the ball. As someone else mentioned, you get the element of uncertainty with Timmy, because it could be run or pass. With Beanie, 9 times out of 10 it is a run.

Agreed. Other than the fumble he does everything that is asked of him. Plus it was great to see him on the sidelines just squeezing the life out of the football after the fumble

It pains me to read the game thread and the absolute hate and grief this guy gets still. He has been outplaying Wells now for 6 weeks straight regardless of the fumble. That is a fact.

Again went out tonight and averaged 8.3 yards per carry to Wells 2.1 he was man handling blitzers all stinking night and allowing Warner the time to make several of those big plays.

May fumble more than we like but then again so does Wells. Im not saying he is better than Wells in this thread. But he certainly doesnt deserve the amount of grief he gets either. No way no how.

As much as it pains me, I'm gonna have to agree with you Shane. :D

There's a reason why he is still the starting RB.
