This guy is like the male version of the Kardashians...completely self-centered and wants all the attention...

It's Tebow's publicists...whom are probably told by Tebow to get his name out there as much as possible. I don't think he's a bad guy...I just think he loves attention more than anything, which is probably why he hired some great publicists that will spam ESPN whenever he does anything remotely good. Can't blame the Mets PR, because anytime Tebow even sniffed the NFL...all of a sudden it was national news. It's ridiculous...If anyone of us could be a national hero after hitting a home run but be completely ignored when hitting .170 against pitchers 8 years younger than you we'd all do it. The media and the farce that is the Mets PR department is to blame. Not Tebow.

This is patently false. It's the media who perpetuate the Tim Tebow saga and brainwash people into thinking that Tebow is engaging in these activities to garner attention. As long as the consumers continue to talk and complain about him, the media will continue to follow up on his activities and whereabouts. He's a good guy with goals.
The Kardashians do things for attention and money, and they make it no secret.
Tebow has a team of publicists that make every move he does known to the world. Not very many people actively search out what he's doing...his people make sure you know exactly what he's doing, and it's all by design. He craves attention and fame...simple as that...otherwise he wouldn't have PR people. This is patently false. I'm sure you have a link to back this up, which includes something out of the ordinary from other athletes.Tebow has a team of publicists that make every move he does known to the world. And on the contrary...you wouldn't be able to 100% prove your point, either. Not every athlete has publicists...and I'm sure the % that do is fairly low. Does the media perpetuate it, sure, but I know ESPN doesn't have it's own division specifically for Tebow...it's his PR team that's getting all the information out there. Tebow reminds me of Tiger Woods...where absolutely everything is over-publicized and over-blown. And you know Tiger has a ridiculous amount of PR people keeping his name afloat. It is what it is...I don't really care what Tebow does...I just think he's doing his best to stay in the circle of fame.I'm sure you have a link to back this up, which includes something out of the ordinary from other athletes.
A lot of your post includes hypothetical constructs, many of which you can't prove to be anything to the contrary. If you can't understand that the media is the one who perpetuates the Tebow story because of reactions such as yours, I'm not sure what to tell you.

Tim Tebow is moving up — not to the big time — but to the state where he performed his greatest heroics.
Despite a .222 batting average, the New York Mets are promoting the former Heisman Trophy winner from Florida and NFL No. 1 draft pick of the Denver Broncos.
Tebow is leaving the Columbia Fireflies and will rise to Class A St. Lucie, Mets general manager Sandy Alderson announced Sunday.
In addition to his average, Tebow has three homers and 23 RBI in 63 games
https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2017/jun/25/tim-tebow-new-york-mets-promotion-baseball“It’s not like he’s tearing up the league, but at the same time all of the indications are positive in terms of various things we look at – chase rates and exit velocity,” Alderson told ESPN. “The bottom line is the average isn’t there, but he’s improving.”
What Tebow does have, however, is drawing power. Games involving Tebow have been well attended and he has been known throughout his college, NFL and baseball career as nothing less than an excellent team-mate. If, as seems likely, the Mets are out of contention as the season draws to an end a call-up to the majors may not be entirely out of the question. While that would be great for the club’s attendance, it would do less for baseball’s reputation.
Tim Tebow impresses at plate on first day with St. Lucie Mets
PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- Tim Tebow has a habit of making a big splash in his debuts, and the newest St. Lucie Met delivered again on Wednesday.
On his first day with high-A St. Lucie after being promoted Sunday from Columbia, Tebow homered in the second game of the Mets' doubleheader and collected three hits overall at First Data Field.
