I'm one of Stanton's most outspoken critics.... But at this point, I'd rather see him or Gabbert... The O-line sucks too, but IIRC, most of Palmer's INT's so far have been with almost no pressure.

He really looks awful.

Hmmmm ya he looked awful

so let me get this straight.
you sit on your ass watching a game on tv..but you know more than the rulers of a multi million business who only hire the best of the best and he just threw for over 300 yards in a away game and won..but he's done? he's the one who won the game. The running game sucked

During his press conference reporters told carson palmer how arians lamented about qb plays after first half
palmer seems to be bothered by this critic
And just said he need to get better as he always try to do...

Agree with OP, kind of shocked to see the number of people clinging to his stats. Watch the game, and last game. Palmer looks done. He should have thrown 3 picks today, 2 easy picks were dropped.

I'm all for optimism, but trust your eyes on this one. Going to be a long season.

This is a for sure loss without Palmer. If you want to blame someone blame BA for not ever getting the f****** team ready in preseason, and terrible play calling! Not to mention the drops by some of our players that were in their hands!

Palmer was doodoo most of the game, but was clutch when we needed him to be.
That's the sign of a good QB with diminishing skills - able to muster up a handful of good throws despite a bad game. Inconsistency becomes the norm.

Ehhh I'm not so sure. The int was a bad throw but he was under pressure all day and that Colts D came to play in their home opener. We have ZERO chance of winning this game with Stanton! Palmer is still clutch and makes some big time throws if allowed time, like the TD strike that was perfectly thrown. We need guys to catch the damn ball quite a few costly drops today.
