Been a fan since 1974 and I have seen this organization run more coaches in and out than I have seen quality players. I see this team turning a corner and yes a few wins does not constitute a reversal of fortune but I see chemistry finally being developed on the lines, I see the coaches in sync with what they are trying to accomplish and I see our well paid running back hitting the numbers we all thought he would.

We have a young quarterback who is learning but everyone can see he already gets it!!!! We allowed an aging QB to ruin our season this year, and yes I am blaming Denny for playing him. Kurt is a great guy but he dropped the ball, pure and simple!

True fans hear me it is time we sent a message to the organization that it is time to stick with this coach. If we have to start all over it will be a few more years before we win. When a coach begins with a team a new program, a new philosophy, a new way to do things, a new routine, all has to be learned by the players, the front office, the media who covers the team....it's all new....this team is turning a corner .. Bill needs to hear it from someone other than the media who is ANTI CARDINAL that Denny needs to stay one more year.

I request that letters be sent into the organization asking for Denny to stay for one more year. I'm not looking for anti denny quotes and I certainly respect those opinions but I see this team winning sooner than later and I think the path is there. The lessons have been learned and this team is ready to rock. Anyone who is interested send me an email and if you would like to attach the letter in which you would like to get to our Owner I will make sure he gets it.

Totally understandable and I respect your point. I would hate to see this organization rely on media as they have in the past to realize that they need to ride this ride out and keep this program in place.

Your username sounds like the title of a comic book Marvel would have published in the mid 90's.

Longtime Cardinal fan that thought Green had to go. Now I have to take a second look. I thought he had lost this team now it looks like they are playing to save his job. I now even question if OL needs to be our first pick. I can live with whatever choice the Cards make but I hate to start over again if Green has not lost this team.

Bigdog1202, I've never understood a philosophy that only "true fans" believe what the poster believes. I also disagree with the thought that only people that agree with you should respond to this post.

There are alot of true fans that don't think that Green has earned another year here. There are alot of us that certainly don't think that Green has earned the extension he's demanding before he comes back to continue doing a substandard job of coaching this team.

The Dennis Green-coached Cards couldn't win two games in a row last year. This year, it's finally happened. I think things are improving because Leinart has taken control of the team, he's inspiring the team, he's calling plays at the line of scrimmage.

If you want to send a letter, thanking the team for signing Leinart...you bet, I'll sign it. But Dennis Green? You can keep the stamp.

Welcome to the board, Coachbigdog1202, even though I disagree with you about Green.

If we don't fall apart in the last three. If we compete in those games; I think Green has to stay too. Let's stop the coaching carousel and let the chemistry continue to build.

How much of the winning do we credit Green with?

The Cardinals are playing well. If the Cardinals go 2 of 3, it will be hard to fire Denny.

The same amount as the losses

I disagree with that.

He could continue to suck as a coach and the players can play hard and win in spite of him. Wins and losses are only a part of evaluating a coach. He fails in that area and in so many other ways. He needs to pack his bags and move on...

If the team has learned how to win in spite of Green then we definately need to keep him next year. They could improve on that technique and make the playoffs.

Bingo. They won in spite of his multiple idiotic decisions today.

He coached them to a loss but individual players made plays to turn it into a win. The freakin' team is 3-9 and Denny can't go for it - twice - on 4th and 1.

Several posts I have seen have stated that the Cardinals have won inspite of the coaching done by DG and his staff the last few weeks. This is far from the truth and shows the personal bias of the ones saying it. This team from its coaches on down have shown the last couple of weeks that they are still working to correct there shortcomings and with the line play the last 5 weeks they have seen marked improvement. There are always things during a game that a coach or player could have done better. This goes for all teams. We have a season lost because of an ageing Qb that did not have it and an OL that had not found any identity or consistancy. These things are beginning to manifest themselves by complete efforts from both coaches and players. The losing equation this team has always had in the desert has had one constant and that is the owners jumping the gun when things started to show some light at the end of the tunnel and firing there coaches. If this team fights the next few weeks and finishes strong then I do believe the players were fighting to keep this coaching staff and team intact. The question is will the Owners again shoot themselves in the foot and catch us fans with the riqochet. Rebuilding with a new coach will still set this team back a couple of years even with Matt at the helm. You have to let this play out one more year with DG. He has not earned an extension this season and I think would be the first to admit it. The owners should tell him to honor his current contract or quit. Then we will see a really good team next year rather than a rebuilding effort once again.

So, if we stick with Green, we could be like his old Vikings' teams - reaching the playoffs and losing in poorly coached playoff games? Who wants that?
