Damn. Watching the MSG Christmas Tournament and here is what could be a great game. Then the refs decided Duke needed to win. It was a coach K lovefest. Craps getting old. Only way Duke stays with Zags is if the wholesale mugging is allowed. Bingo. Duke wins.

They've got to make up for their football team. I agree, though i'm not a big Duke fan.

There were a few as usual. There was one sequence that was hysterical Few said to the ref "are you serious with this Bleep?"

My favorite one was a pass back to McRoberts trailing on the break. He bobbled the ball and then walked, then started to go up and had the ball knocked away. they called a shooting foul. Even the announcer said "I dont' think he ever even had control of the ball." The only thing I could think was he didn't call the walk because he didn't catch the ball cleanly, but it was still a walk, and there was absolutely no foul. And even if you stretch it say there was a foul, it couldn't have possibly been a shooting foul because he didn't have the ball clean, he wasn't shooting.

Disappointing game for Heytvelt, seemed intimidated by McRoberts all night.

Really liked the Nigerian kid for Gonzaga and the kid off Duke's bench that kept blocking shots, really quick off his feet.

I know exactly the walk/foul with McRoberts. That is the one that convinced me. Moving picks all night.

Heytvelt had 3 early foul calls. That took care of him.

The Nigerian kid is going to be very good. He does ned some offense in his game. 4 early baskets were nice, but nothing after that.

Duke's shot blocker was taught well. He always had his off the ball arm /elbow in the shooters gut while he would go for the block. No calls on that technique all night.

Duke/UNC games should be interesting. ACC officials won't know who to cover for.
