I'm getting tired of the repeated references to the records of the teams the Cardinals have played and as result we are "not for real". First off they didn't make the schedule or build those other teams. If you compare AZ, Caro and NE: the Cards and Pats have each played 6 teams under .500 while Carolina has played 7. The combined records of the teams AZ has played is 50-70, NE 50-60 and Carolina 52-69. Wherein lies this alleged advantage to the Cardinals? So they didn't blow out the 49ers. Did everyone expect the 49ers to lay down in their own stadium? I don't recall the handwringing when the Panthers squeaked by NO or the last two weeks for NE.

I don't think most are saying that anymore. What I heard today was we won two big games on prime time and came out flat. They even added good teams win not playing at their best.

I haven't heard anyone say or write this since we beat Seattle/Cincy back to back.

before yesterday there were only 9 teams with winning records in the entire league and we were one of them. Hard to play teams with winning records when 66% of the league doesnt have one.

Very interesting and informative post. It would be nice to have a better "resume" but I'm no longer docking us style points for our schedule.

I'm with ya after beating SEA/CIN back to back. Those W's, along with a 9-2 record that includes multiple beat downs = damn good team no matter how you slice it.

Damn good, sure, but don't forget - the Cardinals are not "elite" nor a "legitimate title contender" because they lost to the Steelers in week 6 and Landry Jones played more than half of that game.

you're a poop face dave and almost lost us the Niner game.

:lmao:

I had to break the jinx of seeing the Cardinals lose at away games! But next Thursday they are guaranteed to beat the Vikings, as i will be there and i've never seen them lose at UofP Stadium!

Meh.

Its East Coast bias.

The Cardinals will always be a team that the sports media wants to rank lower, and the Cowboys will always be a team that the sports media wants to rank higher.

I saw pre-Thanksgiving power rankings that had the Cowboys in the top 15 of the league. Talk about ridiculousness.
