All this speculating has gotten too much for me since the season is still going on. I know we suck. But I still like watching them. We will have all offseason to speculate. So I thought I would take this opprotunity to start this thread. Stephon will be back at AWA tomorrow night. Who's going? I really hope the fans give him a standing ovation, he deserves it. Unlike Kidd. And hope we kick the crap outta NY. :D

Thoughts?

I've got tickets. The fans around my seats are always loud, so we will be cheering like no tomorrow.

I can't wait to watch the game, Steph should get a very very loud and long standing ovation.

I'll probably kill this thread, too. I noticed noone will touch the Gambo and Ash Again thread, but here goes:

my gut is NY WILL win. Not because of Marbury. I think Penny will be the X factor this game. He has a lot of pent. up feelings about our management and I think he'll be good tonight. Marbury will want to put on a show, but I think he is happy finally getting to the Knicks. :D

This game could go either way.
I think the Knicks really miss Van Horn. He was going 20/10 a lot of nights and now they have Thomas who is not getting the 10 and certainly is not near 20 in points.

I was not going to post on this thread because Yuma did, but thought what the heck, I hope the others are not upset at me?

I'll get your back and repost!! The whole Eastern Conference trade scene seems like some subtitled foreign movie with a plot line that makes you scratch your head in confusion! :D

Hopefully, Dice was being rested up so he could go hard against the Knicks... I think he and Howard both will be up for sticking it to their old team. Penny will be, too, but man has he stunk it up the last few games - as far as stats show, anyway. Marbs will probably put on a show though I agree he seems happy to be at the 'garden' - it being the center of the universe and all...

This will be a good test game for JJ.. will he continue spiraling down to the old JJ or surge upward again?

Kobe did a great job of defensing JJ on Sunday and his shooting was off, but I liked how JJ got 9 assists. I expect JJ will play better without Kobe and Shaq playing against him.

The Lakers did a good job of packing the middle of the floor on defense to try to stop Amare Stoudemire and JJ. JJ is at his best when he can get in the middle and drop that little floater over the other team's big men. Of course it also helps when his midrange jumper is falling. :)
