That is correct. I had to listen to it a few times to make sure I didn't miss anything. I wish they said who the player was instead of just saying a 2 rounder and unnamed player

yeah...well probably to protect the player's name they have not released it until it is final. I think this is a good fit for Q. The titans have been desperate for a quality #1 for some time. and it's not the NFC east.

Wow.. this sounds terrible. Their second rounder might as well be a third.

Scout said the Cards were looking into LenDale White and Chris Henry. Henry is interesting, though him and a 2nd doesn't seem like enough. Though it could be a moot point since we denied any offer.

chris johnson plus a second would be robbery. If the titans want him that bad they can just keep waiting until he is up for FA. Johnson is a rare talent. If that were the case...I would have boldin on the next flight out.

my bad getting my chris' mixed up.......henry was the guy who hasn't sniffed the field yet no?

It would appear that the offer is RB LenDale White and a 2nd rounder #62.

White led the NFL in rushing TDs last year with 15, had 1100 yards the year before. At times he was angry with the coaches for not playing him as much last yearm thanks to Chris Johnson...but who can blame him for that? LenDale White is a load and he has quick feet...might remind Whiz a little of The Bus.

I would say add a 5th and it's a deal.

It would be fun to have two of the last three picks Saturday night back to back. There will be plenty of good players on the board still at that point.

One positive is that White is in his last year of his contract but with an uncapped year he would be a restricted FA.

Let us pick between Chris Johnson, Cortland Finnegan, Michael Griffin and so on.

But really, Mitch is not far of.

Need a higher 2nd. Hold out.

I'd take a mid 2nd and 3rd. Nothing less.

White wouldn't be content splitting the load here either, and wouldn't even be utilized as much as Tenn. used him.

well white's big butt can be content to sit on the sofa and eat watching the flatscreen. because like almost every other running back in the league today...he is going to share the load. he should be used to it coming out of SC like he did.

White would become our new more powerful and even quicker Edge. He will start and TH will thrive in his role as he did last year. Plus, BOTH of them are TD rushers!

White is a proven 1,000 rusher in the NFL who may get even better in his 4th year.

As for the pick...in this draft a 2nd rounder no matter where it is has very good value...this is not a great high end draft, but it's the deepest three rounds in a long time.

For example...if we go by my 2 round mock draft today we could have RB LenDale White plus:

1. Connor Barwin, DE, Cincinnati
2. Max Unger, C/G, Oregon...think he and LenDale White can add to the power running game?
2. David Veikune, DE, Hawaii (and maybe Paul Kruger slides to here...no matter, two very good players will be here)

There are 3 players on the Titans roster I would do it for. Chris Johnson, Michael Griffin, or Bo Scaife. Johnson I assume is out of the question from the Titans end.
