Talk about a speed guy why not take a shot on him at a min contract. He was released by Det for some mental issues but if he could get it together he would be an excellent guy to stretch the field.

Apparently he has some real issues, if Det. is giving up on him this early.

I would have Larry invite him to his offseason workout in MN, to see if he can crack the nut, first.

For a guy who supposedly stretches the field he sure didnt do much of it. He has what a 11 yard average.

This is also the same guy who has said out loud he is without a doubt better then Megatron and deserves more targets then him. This is also the same guy that lined up in the wrong position on purpose to get a penalty, again on Purpose, in a huge game they needed to win if they were going to start a playoff push. It is the reason why they suspended the guy and why he never played for them again.

This guy was a head case in college and nothing has changed.

He also got into fight and punched a teammate in the locker room. No thank you.

Not really a fight, those happen. By all accounts it was a straight up sucker punch.

I don't see why the Cardinals would pursue him. They have enough issues on offense already.

He was very good not this past season but the 2nd half of the season before. Just saying could be better than wasting a late round draft pick on a WR which im sure we will do.

How about just draft Marquise Goodwin from Texas in rd 5? More speed & no baggage.

the vague 'some mental issues' is like a bright red flag lite on fire

This. I can safely look at my current Longhorn players in the draft and go, this guys sucks and that guy sucks and that guy is not all that. Marques Goodwin is one of the few guys, along with Okafor, which can play and Goodwin is going to be a steal for someone.

Never thrilled about a guy who is supposedly a "head case" but Fisher has taken some chances on guys in the past. Jenkins for example was a risk/reward guy because of character and it's worked(so far). Maybe Fisher and the Rams are confident in their program to rehabilitate guys with character problems.

As far as the sucker punch, I don't know the details about Young but didn't Steve Smith get away with the same exact thing?

But I am really curious about the lining up wrong. Obviously Young had a problem with the coaches in Detroit but I'd like to know why. Not saying there was an excuse for sabotage but it certainly seems like there has to be more to the story.

Him thinking he's better than Megatron is ludicrous to the fans but I don't actually mind supreme confidence by a guy who does have talent.

Why is that it seems like the WRs are the most prone to doing such stupid things and getting in trouble so often? Or am I off base there.

By the way, why don't we give the guy one last chance. We could let Tyrann Mathieu mentor him.

Nut case. :doi:

Glad he didn't kill anyone while he was driving under the influence.

As much as I believe in giving second chances I think he needs to stay out of football for a year or two and grow up. Let him work construction for a while as a laborer for 10 bucks an hour so he can see just how good he had it. Some times a little humility goes a long way. Nothing like a good beat down to get your head right.
