Your entire point is based around the fact that it is wrong to make fun of a 4 year old's head. I really do not see a difference between that and the way you went off on BIM with your comments. In fact, I will go out on a limb and say the only reason a lot of people responded to this thread is because of those comments.
Well, even if we pretend there's no difference between the comments I made about BIM and a four-year old getting nationally made fun of, it still wouldn't make me hypocritical. I think that if BIM or any of you sees it as alright to make fun of a four year old, then why would it be bad for me to take a jab or two at them? BIM obviously thinks a lifestyle where making fun of toddlers is a good way to live - he must certainly not think that saying something about him would be bad then. Hey, the way I see it, if a four year old can take a country of people laughing at him, BIM can take one person writing two sentences in bad taste about him, right?
But then let's consider how my comments differ completely from comments about TJ Kidd. First, my comments were about a 34 year old, right to his face. He could defend himself, and he did that. In BIM's opinion, it was nice to see that people could make fun of a toddler on a national stage. A toddler is a four year old, which makes BIM 30 years older.
In truth, TJ will never know that people were making fun of his big head on whatever show it was, so it won't hurt him. But for whatever reason, you guys seem to dislike Jason Kidd, and you try to get at him by berating a helpless four year old. You wanna say that Jason beat his wife, fine. You wanna say that Jason Kidd is a bad shooter, that's fine as well. But using his toddler to get at him? I'm not really sure what the kid ever did to any of you...
Had Joumana been so public with her parenting prior to getting beat down by her husband, I would be inclined to agree with you. But she wasnt. TJ became Joumana's and Jason's accessory right after the domestic violence incident.
You know a bunch of people have made comments like this, saying that Jason and Jourmana use TJ as a prop. So what are you guys saying? If you're saying that you don't think they should do that, obviously you'd think it was in bad taste for people to make fun of TJ"s head on a national stage. If you say it's wrong to use TJ as a prop, how does making fun of that prop whose parents take advantage of reinforce your arguments at all? If you guys think that the Kidds going around with their son on national television is wrong, you would seem to care about the little kid. You then wouldn't think it would be "nice" that people are seeing what the Kidds are doing and using it to berate the little child who is already being taken advantage of. But of course, that's not why you guys make fun of TJ's big head, now is it?
Listen, the more I talk about this issue, the more I know I'm right. If you guys care about TJ and what his parents are doing to him, then have some respect for the little kid and berate his family for doing it. It's that simple. Still, you guys don't like Jason Kidd. Is it because he uses his family as a prop, or because he beat his wife, or because he badmouthed the Phoenix Suns organization, or because he didn't act professional? That really doesn't matter. The fact of the matter is, it's sad to make fun of a four year of a four year old, period.
Unless, of course, you're a four year old as well.
