C'mon they've got guys running open all night and our blitzes aren't getting home. That's scheme. Why blitz down there in that scenario when they aren't getting home?

I'm afraid you might be right. Our short yardage game is the biggest deficit on this team. We need to be able to win the line of scrimmage even just half of the time. I mean the 49ers game was the perfect example of that... I think we got 10 snaps starting from the 1 yard line before we got in.

I will never understand the grounding rules. Between the tackles throws the ball 10 yards out of bounds to avoid the sack. Why is that not grounding

At least he tried. If he rushes 4 and doesn't get there we yell at him. When we bring the house once again we yell at him when he's not the one who didn't make the tackle on 1st n 20 and get beat in man coverage on 3rd and goal

We blitz because we cant get there with 4, but they look very unimaginative while watching the game live. Bowels used to blitz a ton, but they worked more than they do now imo.
