We historically suck on Thursdays. Not shocked it was a struggle but I hoped we could pull away a bit more. Vikes played with a ton of heart. We were flat. And lucky. Real lucky. That Iupati catch could have gone badly and then we may not get that FG.
How many wide open guys did the D leave out there?

Wasn't crazy about the defensive game plan -- especially on third down
Just seemed like for every max blitz- there was an easy 5 yard throw available for a 15-20 yard run. When they played a bit more coverage, Bridgewater struggled.

I'll take it. Short week, practically no recovery time, and they pulled it off. I dont care how ugly it was. They need to rest and recover. These Thursday games are brutal and I hate them.

Nice to win, but this team has 2 glaring weaknesses...1. the inability to get to the QB even when blitzing, and 2. inability to run in short yardage situations... Bruce has gotta' find some answers
Both teams on a short week and the vikes offense game plan was clearly the difference. The plethora of screens was so smart by them. The D always gives up big plays BUT they always seemto come up with the game changing play. I'll take that every game

Give them some credit they could have packed it in after last week, but the Vikings came to play tonight.
Guys are getting really spoiled. Did you think the Vikings were gonna show up and roll over on national TV. They didn't get to be 8-4 by accident.
