If Benjamin pans out, Carolina is going to be real nasty.

I guess the officials never forgot Newton's complaining about not getting roughing flags. Gets blasted after throwing it away, no flag.

really want Carolina to take an L here, I am no Bronco fan but screw the Panthers and they are in NFC.

Me too, completely rooting for Denver just because Carolina can kiss my rear

I hate the Panthers, Cam, especially Ted Ginn.

Simien looks pretty good for a 7th rounder, better than our backups.
Better than our backups I agree, but he doesn't look like a starting QB in the NFL to me. Denver is in trouble if they start this dude all 16 games.

He's playing this well, and it isn't that good, with Carolina having no tape on the dude.

After a few games teams will have tape to figure out all his tendencies and when that happens Denver is toast.

Agree, but let's be honest, a lot of it is because he's huge. Max Hall or someone like that takes those hits and it's Flag city.

Pretty dead in this thread. So what have we learned after 1 half:

1. Newton changed his drop. No 7 step drops like last year. It's all 5 step and throw or run. Not holding the ball as long as previously. He's been working with someone on his game obviously.

2. Denver still has a good defense. Their offense is in trouble though.

3. Kuechly still a damn beast. I swear. Wife and I made a drinking game before the game: she takes a drink after every play if Kuechly is near the ball (within a few feet), I drink if he's nowhere near. She's already trashed.

JJ Watt is so badass but if I had to take anyone other than him on defense I'd honestly take Kuechly. He's the best LB in the NFL. He can do it all, rush, pass defend, shed, and tackle. Dude has no weaknesses.

They've been letting the Panthers tackles hold all night.

He's an extremely high IQ football player. Too bad he plays for the Panthers.

Andy Lee booting rainmakers for the Kitties. Man we could use a punter like him. 76 yards on that last missile from deep in his own end, effectively flipping the field? Mother of God! Butler probably would have shanked one for 27 yards in that pressure-packed situation. Or gotten snuffed for a safety.

Of course we'd have to find some guys who can cover a kick that deep, but hey, I'm sure they could handle it somehow.

Denver looks better than expected on offense. Siemian looks pretty solid considering it's his first start vs a nasty defense.

Siemian pretty impressive for a guy who's lone snap in the nfl was a kneel down at halftime. He has extremely nice touch on his passes, leads the receiver to it. The anti scud
