I don't think so at all. If that were Palmer I'm quite sure you'd be whining.

Do agree he's too enthusiastic looking for a call. Also belive he doesn't get normal calls.

He's not normal, he is Superman!

The Denver CB that got the 5yd hands to the face penalty on 4th & 22 is an idiot. I still don't see why a 5 yard penalty is an automatic 1st down on 4th & 22. In his defense, the WR had his hands in the CB's facemask 1st & the CB got caught retaliating.

Man, I'm glad the Panthers lost.

I have a strong dislike for Carolina Panthers fan forums after reading their trash talk before and after last year's playoff game.

I'm thoroughly enjoying the melt down that's happening over there tonight.

Lol he's elite and some pansies can't take it. I'm glad they lost because it helps us, but Cam Newton is elite and if he were on our team ya'll would be saying how we finally got our GBOTF.

Thought for sure Denver blew that game. So happy they pulled that one out. Cards need home field advantage this year!

So glad they lost. Don't know how though, Denver is not good.

Let's not get it twisted. Simean (sp) is probably the worst starting QB in the NFL and could barely manage the game tonight. Denver is probably a 7-8 win team at the moment. The Panthers losing the way it did with Cam playing as mediocre as he did should be cause for concern for Carolina fans.

I wouldn't call him an elite QB. I think he's a really good QB and exceptionally gifted athletically, but he's still amongst the bottom half of throwing accuracy with questionable character traits.

I would take Big Ben, Luck, A-Rodg, Brees, and Brady ahead of him without giving it second thought.

I said it after the first quarter, he's not a starting NFL QB, period. That was obvious after only a few series. Denver is in trouble if he starts 16 games.

Yeah he sucks. He should appreciate losing more. Embrace the suck. That's the thing to do. Wise words. Very insightful.

Yeah, kinda like last season right? God forbid he jumps on a loose ball. Talk about pansie, Id knock him into tomorrow.

I'd have been pissed at Palmer for not throwing it away. If you stand there and hold the ball that long - you deserve to get taken down.

Surprising to me:

Carolina, facing a team with a QB making his first start, gets run on. How do you not make Trevor Simien beat you?

Last season they beat our ass. I agree he didn't dive for that ball, he should have. And yet his half hearted attempts and lack of urgency beat our ass.

I'm old school in that I think you take care of your own house before pointing fingers. Sure, he didn't jump on that ball--should we get into all the poo the Cards didn't do when they beat our ass? Does that make us all the stuff you said?

Nope. Because you don't know what the hell you're talking about.

Panthers didn't look sharpe today.

Couldn't stop a very mediocre Denver Offense on critical downs.

And most notibly. Cam was not Superman. He was hurting and slow to get up several times. Could this be the beginning to the end of his Playing style?

I wouldn't take any of those you mentioned except Andrew Luck. The rest of them are old(er). I'll take me a Cam Newton every day right now over them, thanks.
