It is amazing the impact little decisions have in football games.
IMO the key play for Seattle losing this game came when Browner intercepted "MVP" Smith in the endzone. Instead of taking a knee and getting it at the 20, he tried to run and got tackled at the 3(after going backwards towards the endzone at one point). they run 3 plays and punt and SF uses the short field to drive for a FG and go up 7 points.
It COMPLETELY changed the game. Seattle at the 20 with 11 minutes left they can run their whole offense and they really only need about 60 yards to get into FG range. A FG still leaves them down 1, but with plenty of time to get the ball back at least once if not twice.
But because they're on the 3 they're afraid to do much with Wilson so they go 3 and out and punt and then SF chews up some clock.
