Isn’t it about time to start asking the tough questions of Coach Whisenhunt in person?
Post game interviews, press conferences; we hear the same soft questions week after week.
It’s time to step up.
You see the same thing we the fans see week after week. Does it not resemble the definition of insanity?
When do you as “journalists” start asking the hard questions?
The coach and his staff need to be held accountable!
Why don’t you do it when you have the opportunity?
Are you afraid to lose access to the facility? You won’t be able to play golf with the coach again? What?
National reporters ask harder questions then you the locals do. Why?
A column or a segment on the radio doesn’t cut it.
Please, step up!

What do you want to see asked?
For one Whiz mentioned in the post game that Skelton struggled, although he did mention some dropped passes.

Well all rookie QBs struggle, and we have two on our roster.

Does he plan to make major changes in the coaching staff or is he still confident in them?

What is the biggest problem this season, is it his players on the field or is it the offensive play call and defensive schemes coming from the sidelines?

There was a lady who asked Whiz these those types of questions, while quoting his normal answers and asking for real answers the FANS would like to hear.

She was awesome. Never found out her name.

The only thing I want to know is why do we throw the ball 40x a game when our team was built to run the football.

I'd ask who thought having the third smallest payroll in the NFL was a way to built a talented and successful team.

Because were constantly playing from behind..

Not an excuse in a 0-6 or 0-13 game. You don't deviate from the gameplan when down two scores in the first half.

That said, I don't find it to be an issue on the pass/run split because I don't think we are built to run. Our Oline can't hold open a hole to save their life. I'm fine with the pass/run ratio, but using the "we were behind" excuse doesn't fly since the Panthers mustered a whopping 19 points in the entire game...if you are trying to run the ball that shouldn't affect your plans. But we suck running, and thus must pass...

Only 10 pt game at half and the run/pass ratio was 31% to 69% (first half). This team needs to run more!

By the same logic, we suck at passing. The OLine can't hold a pass block to save their life. Our QBs are lucky to complete 50% of their passes. I think we should just punt every play that's the only thing we do well when we have the ball.

No one wants the run the ball more than I do, but the reason we can't run the ball is on the passing game. They were run blitzing us constantly; sometimes with nine in the box. It's difficult for very good offenses to rush in those situations; it's impossible for a guy like Tim Hightower to.

Until the offense shows that it can complete passes when teams are selling out on the run, it's going to be nearly impossible for this team to run the ball.

Now, if the team ran a max-protect scheme and passed deep on play action, they'd probably have more success at keeping defenses honest than this hot-route, short passing folderol that we can't complete and which puts too much of Skelton on film.

But reporters can't ask these questions because they know that the coaches know more than they do, and they're not going to get a useful answer from the HC, anyway.

Press conferences are overrated...

Isn't it obvious why we suck. Do we really need to hear it from Whiz? Even the best coaches/franchises have horrid seasons. This is Whisenhunt's 1st in his 4 yr tenure. I will gladly give him some slack. Do I feel that changes must be made? Absolutely. I fully expect to have a new DC, new OL coach & possibly a new OC next year. We need 2 QB's, better O-Linemen, pass-rushers & linebackers galore. Not an easy chore. Now if there are no changes or the changes are minimal & we're at 4-10 next year, then I will also be calling for Whiz's scalp. Until then, it is what it is. Find a second favorite team to root for in the playoffs. It can still be fun. I've been doing it for most of my time as a Cardinal fan. Merry Christmas everyone!!

Yet, Trotter can get under Rexy Ryan's skin. Right?

I often wonder if people actually watch these games. We still can't run the ball at all, if you can't see that at this point, you're delusional.

I just wish M. Bidwill would finally grow a pair and lay down the Law on Graves and Coach Wiz.
Michael's 9 new laws.

1. Rod You better get your ass in gear you toadie, and get me good players in the offseason. (Est 30 mil to spend on FA).

2. Rod and Staff you will get me the best players available in FA and stay within that 30 Mil.

3,. Rod you will tell Ken that he is getting a new OC and DC and a few other Coaches.

3. Rod you never will do another inteview due to you have no emotion at all. My GM will show that he cares and that happy, angry, upset, joyfull emotions have to be shown as being my GM.

4. Ken you will never set me new 1st,2nd and 3rd rounders on the bench, Ken its not what you did last year is what you do now. Ie Robinson over D. Williams. Never want to see that again. You tie up my money for nothing.

5. Ken you will abide by my dissions, if you done like it to bad.

6. Ken you will install with your new OC, screen plays, dump off plays to the RB, FB, TE. I am tired of seeing every team in the NFL do it but us.

7. Ken YOU will show some emotions on the field so the fans and your players know that you are care. By just showing that monotone expression that you show is not exaccpetable any more.

8. Rod You will evaluate all players and if they under produce there gone.

9. Rod and Ken listen up, I want this teamto have a winning attidude and that starts from Me down to the towl boy. If you done like it tough quit, leave, retire but I will make this happen.

Sincerely Pissed,
Mike B.

This team was built to run the ball?

Having a large offensive line that struggles in pass protecton, 3 mediocre-to-good running backs, only run-blocking tight ends, turnover proned/inexperienced QBs. All of these things make me believe that the team was built to run the ball. Never said they did it well. Also I think many of us have complained that we veered away from the running game too early (Tampa, San Fran games I think). I understand its tough to stick with it when you're getting blown out, but Whiz has called far too many pass plays for SCUD and rookie QBs who can't/shouldn't throw the ball 40x a game.
