At this point in time I have no problem with what the front office has done with this team. As a matter of fact I defend the Bidwill's against to evil casual observer that lives in this city.

Was there a time when the front office deserved criticism? Absolutely, but they have done almost everything to put this team in a position to win. They have signed a "successful" coach at a competitive salary, brought in players, changed their negotiating proceedures, changed the bonus tiers and with the new stadium are nearly on level ground with other NFL teams.

The fault lies with the coaching staff and the complete lack of passion the players give on the field.

I don't think that's an accurate representation.

During the season, the owner has much less control over the minute to minute occurrences for the team than do the coaches and players. I don't think anyone intends to see the Bidwills get a free ride on the team's performance, but each decision has to stand on its own.

Yes, the team was allowed to flounder for quite a long time, but the ownership has turned it around in recent years. Unfortunately, you can make plenty of right decisions, and things can still go wrong.

Ownership was responsible for assembling this group of players and coaches. Please give me the reference to any of you who predicted, prior to the season starting, that this team would be 1-8 after nine games.

We're all frustrated and angry, and I'm willing to bet that Bill and Michael are pretty angry too. Right now, I'm focusing my anger on coaching. If the ownership doesn't come through in the off season, I'll refocus.

Unfortunately, the one constant in the last 50 or so losing seasons has been the Bidwill family. That fact can't be ignored.

Maybe the Bidwills have "turned it around" in some areas like modernizing player contracts, extending players etc., but they haven't shown the willingness to go the extra step it will take to actually win.

Bill Bidwill is still doing it on the cheap by staying way under the cap and low-balling assistant coaches among other things. That's his right as owner, but I'm tired of the team pissing down my back and telling me it's raining.

But it can be misrepresented. The Bidwill family was also involved 60 years ago as NFL champions. They were there when the Cards were in the Playoff Bowl 40 years ago. They were also there 30 years ago when the Cards won the NFC East in back to back seasons. And nearly 10 years ago, they were there when the team was two wins away from the Super Bowl.

And they were there three months ago when you didn't think the team was this bad either. I'm wondering when Denny will do the right thing and resign.

To the players?

HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Whatever they don't care.

They better not cause I think 53 drunken grandmas are more intimidating then these guys.

Plus many will read this and say "Well, screw it if you don't support us, blah, blah, blah"

This team is a bunch of million dollar punks that would not be able to cut it in the real world. They are obviously too stupid to know how to play football so they don't have the intellegence to hold down a real job.

I can see L.Davis right now struggling to figure out how to punch in the #4 meal a Burger King.

Plus they have no guts, and no ability to stand up against adversity.

Really, this is a football GAME. It is not even real life, and they can't at least put up a fight against what is happening. They just roll over.

I guess I understand why in year's past players were called bums. Because if they weren't playing a sport they would be bums out on the street.

To the Cardinals players....YOU ARE A BUNCH OF BUMS.

I dont usually post on thread like this but I garee with Ryan's earlier post. For me it goes something like this:

1. Pay $1300 for season tickets. Convince someone weekly to make the trip with me to the game .

2. Wake up Saturday, pack up the car with tailgate gear. Tivo the college games

3. Saturday afternoon drive from Vegas to Phx - 260 miles

4. Get hotel room for $100.00. buy dinner, etc

5. wake up sunday morning, go to stadium early for tailgate

6. Put up with thug-ass fans.

7. go to game

8. Watch an awful product who doesnt care and has zero passion.

9. Walk out of the stadium to taunts and screams from opposing fans

10. get back in car and sit in traffic for 1.5 hours

11. drive 260 miles back to vegas, get in around midnight

12. Unpack car, go to bed

13. rinse repeat.

I actually thought earlier in the year I would upgrade from my upper deck tix to club level. Not a chance I am doing that now.

disgusting.

dude, I don't know how you do it. the above is simply the most horrifying thing I've ever read. basically, you destroy every other weekend of the fall and waste a butt-load of money supporting this team.

it's stuff like the above that REALLY makes me hate the Bidwills. Such devotion that's just crapped on year after year after year after year after year...

The definition of crazy is repeating the same behavior and expecting a different outcome. I have been repeating my behavior of an Arizona Cardinals fan for almost 20 years and am expecting a different outcome everytime out...... I really must be crazy

This is what I did from 1988-2003.

I found a cure. Now I just expect them to lose and embarrass themselves. If this happens its just the status quo. If they win or at least don't embarrass themselves I am pleasantly surprised.

LV dude I agree, that is horrible the cardinals owe you for a bad product...

We in Phx know them as the team that beat the clippers as worst team in american history by one vote.

I think if coaches and management reads this the homerizm needs to stop everytime someone is critical of the moves "NOT" being made

are you kidding? The Clippers now beat the Cardinals by a freaking LANDSLIDE.

Notonly did they finally make the playoffs last year and get within one game of the WCF, but... what do you know... THEY DIDN'T BLOW UP THEIR TEAM AFTERWARD and now are one of the best teams in basketball.

Amazing - I never thought Donald Sterling would be able to teach Billy a thing or two about anything, but I know that to be false now.

Well to be honest this is my first year as a season ticket holder. So a lot of other fans have been enduring this for much longer. I have however come down to phx every year since 1999 (when I moved to Vegas) for at least 2 games. I guess with the new stadium and all I thought it would be a great time to get season tix.

I am debating even coming down for the Denver and Seattle games and now I am questioning season tix next year.

I feel your pain, this is our third year with ST, we make the drive from Bullhead City on Saturdays and return on Sundays. Luckily, we have family in Phoenix so we don't have to motel it. I'll finish out this year, and I plan on renewing but I am thinking about splitting our tickets with a friend next season. The late night drive is getting old, and the home improvement projects are starting to add up. Whatever happens, the games are a blast, and I'm still a diehard.

Why not bring a big sign to the next game that says something like

Dear Mr. Bidwill, all I want for Xmas this year is:

F) A real GM not yes man Rod Graves

O) A real head coach with real assistants not Dennis Green and friends

X) A real offensive line

Use FOX instead of 1,2,3 so they show the sign on TV.

We used to go to Giant games when they sucked (with air planes flying overhead with banners in essence saying: "Year after Year of Losing - When Will it Stop?") which made their turnaround - eventually reaching a few Super Bowls - all the sweeter.

(Though I can hear a couple of you out there grumbling: "A little adversity may build character, but this is ridiculous).

Patience, Grasshoppers.

I sadly don't really have any other clothes than Cardinal apparel, my kids wear tons of Cardinals gear, even my wife has started buying Cards stuff.

I can't even add up the thousands of dollars I've dropped on this team, I've made my family sacrifice during hard times so we could continue to retain our season tickets.....and for what?

wow - I... just don't know what to say to this except I'm sorry for almost everything I've ever said. You DO take this WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY more seriously than I do.

This season has depressed me so much, that I haven't even seen HIGHLIGHTS of the last three games.

Granted, I was driving to Minnesota during the Raiders game, and back to Denver during the Packers game, but STILL.

I just want this merry-go-round to STOP.
