The Cards got their franchise QB after years of wallowing without one.

The Suns are in line for a franchise center who could dominate the NBA for years to come.

The Coyotes played some of the best hockey in the league after the All-star break.

The Dbacks are playoff contenders.

The Mercury has a solid young core.

And, the Rattlers are the Rattlers. Winning titles wherever they play.

The future of Phoenix sports sure is looking bright and it could last awhile.

I love the positivity but I suspect a visitor might conclude we've collectively gone off our bipolar medicine. :)

I'm not ready to anoint anyone titles yet, but we had a good run from 2004-2012ish in which at least one team was in the PO's; usually multiple. And, I think each team made it to the conf/league finals once. We could see another run like that again.

The difference being that our teams will have young franchise players at two of the most important positions in sports instead of piece-mealing it together.

A bit of luck has finally come to this city.

Yup. We now have two “from the ground up” teams that can rise together instead of “one foot in the ground” and on the way down with a couple last (good gasps) at glory.

Is was bad judgement for our best hitter to dive for that ball when it was not warranted. And now he is out with a fracture for 4-8 weeks. Bummer!
