if he was a manning he could have just come out prior to the draft and told every one which team has permission to draft him.

I don't have a problem with anyone being candid.

and I don't have a problem when people who make candid comments being called out when they do.

My only issue with this is why? Why is Bridgewater talking about Cleveland? It would be the same if he said he didn't want to play in Oakland. Personally I respect the player who says they are excited to kick the crap out of every team that passed on them more than I do the player who says I didn't want to play there anyway. It comes across to me as immature more than anything and I want a QB who is mature.

The story is to vague sounds like he was straight up asked his opinion if it was Cleveland... He answered with honesty. No big deal and in no wy shows a lack of maturity IMO.

Absolute lack of maturity. His frail ass hasn't thrown a pass in the NFL yet he has no right to talk.

Is he going to talk when he gets run out of Minnesota because he can't complete a pass in 30° weather?

Didn't Elway pull this? Yeah I just can't take a QB that immature. Didn't Eli pull this to? Last I checked that guy has two fourth quarter comebacks in the Super Bowl and two rings. When will these guys grow up.

I think fans forget these players are just people like you and me hell there kids. It's no different than any of us picking a company I got two companies that really want me one is respectable treats there employees right the other is just garbage and is going to put you in a position you know you can't be successful in. Wonder which one im gonna want to go to. You don't think every single player who entered the draft has dreams of playing for a certain team. Well they also have those thoughts about not playing for certain teams.

That's why you have pr people. They prevent you from saying stupid stuff. He is a Viking. There is no reason for him to talking about another team. Period. If he didn't get it then a team rep should have gotten it.

Maybe he is suffering from bruised ego after his extended stay in the green room.

I am sure he "will play with a chip on his shoulder" and "make the other teams pay for passing on him". 2 of the most ridiculous cliches in sports speak.

TB will get to answer to that statement as long as he plays and goes into Cleveland. Hope he likes dog bisquits because the DAWGS in the Cleveland don't forget.

Another 'shouldn't have said it' are the Cowboys claiming they passed on Manziel because it was the best move to get them into a SuperBowl. They are so far away from a SB presence that they will be drafting Maziel's son before they get back in. They are going to have the worst D ever put on a field this year. Romo goes out with a back injury again. First pick in the 2015 and JJ picks himself!

Why would any intelligent athlete WANT to play in Cleveland?

Teddy must have actually wanted a wide receiver or two to throw the ball to.

I read somewhere on the internet this morning Jerry Jones had Ryan Shazier

on the phone when the Steelers drafted him.

Oh man, I'm in trouble now. Shazier was my pick for the Cardinals and you're telling me JJ had the same thought.

Ryan Leaf and Johnny Manziel are cut from the same cloth.

Johnny is a winner ( see the Duke game when he rallied the troops). Plus

Leaf was bigger and stronger than Manziel. I think Johnny is more Doug

Flutie than Ryan Leaf. Johnny football has that "it" factor about him that

will raise his teammates play to another level. Ryan Leaf never had that.

Ryan Leaf was never any good. He was simply the product of the anti-Manning media hysteria. The ridiculous attempts by the media to tear down Manning that resulted in Woodson winning the Heisman and Leaf going #2 overall.

Sad that the one great trade the Cards made was ruined by injury and steroids.
